NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 08, 2026)
Gotee Records’ Cochren & Co. is celebrating the successful release of their highly anticipated third full-length album, Runs In The Blood, which was released on May 29. The 12-song collection marks the most personal and artistically expansive project of Michael Cochren’s career, blending the band’s signature mix of rock, soul, blues, and faith-filled storytelling into what many are calling their strongest release to date.

The album generated an impressive 1.87 million streams across digital service providers during its first week, reflecting the continued growth from Cochren & Co. Streaming partners embraced the album, landing coveted cover placements on several major playlists, including Spotify’s Christian Rising, Amazon Music’s Divine Sound, and Pandora’s New Christian. The widespread support helped introduce the album to new audiences while reinforcing the band’s strong connection with longtime listeners.

“This is a collection of the most honest music I’ve made about who I am, where I’ve been, and where I’m going,” Michael Cochren shares. “The ups, the downs, the joy, the pain, and through all of it, there’s a promise that carries us, and it runs in the blood. My hope is that these songs invite people into the story of God’s grace and remind them that they’re not walking through life alone.”

The album showcases a noticeable evolution in Cochren & Co.’s artistry and sound. Infused with classic rock and blues influences, Runs In The Blood pairs Cochren’s soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics with some of the band’s most dynamic and confident musical performances to date. The result is a project that feels both familiar and refreshingly new while remaining rooted in the hope-filled message that has become the band's hallmark.

Runs In The Blood has already produced several standout tracks that continue to gain momentum. Three songs were released prior to the album: "What Grace Can Do" has surpassed 5.6 million streams since its release, while "Stand My Ground" has generated more than 2.3 million streams. The album’s title track, "Runs In The Blood," has accumulated nearly 600,000 streams and continues to resonate with listeners through its deeply personal message of faith, family, and redemption.

Looking ahead, Cochren & Co. will bring the new music to audiences across the country this fall as special guests on Zach Williams’ highly anticipated Revival Nights Tour.
