Some time ago, I was thinking about being a new parent and how that first day at home with our child would be. I know that our little Riley can not understand our words and that she will not remember the silly faces we make and the strange sounds that
I am that we utter, but if she could remember and think back on those days, I began to think in my mind what would be some of the words that I would have wanted her to hear and remember. From that thought came a song I wrote entitled, "Our Request." If you
are a parent reading this, I am sure that you too could relate to these words.

This is a song I wrote for my sister's wedding. It begins by talking about the special relationship that a daughter has with her dad and ends with the relationship that she now will have with her husband. It was arranged by Paul Massie and sung by Philip
Rabon. At the end, my sister Joy surprised groom, Chris by singing the last part to him. It was a very sweet moment!
