Telly came from a long line of owls who like those before him, were given assignments, calling if you would, to do the Master's Bidding. Telly Tales is 22 chapters if life learning lessons we all should know or learn. Like God, Telly doesn't interfere, but guides those who are willing to listen. Of course there are negative consequences for those who fail to heed the warnings.
This song is from a CD called "Nashville - The Prince Of Egypt". The CD is a collection of songs that were inspired by the movie. They were not actually in the movie. This is a beautiful song sung by Alison Krauss, written by Ron Block from her band Union Station. This song as written, of course, is about Moses' mother Jochebed sending him down the Nile River as a baby to protect him from Pharaoh's proclamation that all Hebrew baby boys were to be killed. I took artistic license here and interpreted the lyrics to relate to the subject of a birth mother making an adoption plan for her newborn child. Much like Jochebed had to give up Moses, some birth mothers must make the same decision. There are some strong parallels here, most importantly that God has a plan.
A pretty lullaby song by Twila Paris from her 2001 album "Bedtime Prayers (Lullabies & Peaceful Worship)"). Some of the pictures of children I used here are ones that I took at Vacation Bible School at my church, others I found on the internet, and a couple are pictures of my family. A nice prayer for our little ones.
This is a sweet song from Twila's 2001 album "Bedtime Prayers (Lullabies & Peaceful Worship). The music is mostly lullaby style with a hint of country and Celtic. I bought the album when I was 48, long after my lullaby days had ended, and I really enjoyed it. It's true, God *is* all around us, and He knows best, He is good, and He is love.
Jana Alayra is sort of a hybrid Christian singer/songwriter. She writes a lot of fun and poignant children's music, but she also frequently takes a detour and records adult praise music. This is a song from her children's CD "Look Out Now" I used pictures of children in this video, but the music itself is equally appealing to both children and adults. And certainly the message applies to everyone: "Your love is life to me."
A movie trailer for a non-traditional look at the resurrection of Christ performed by the Destiny Christian Church youth - (Dover, DE) directed by Brian K. Ford/ Fordography Films 2012
Junko Nishiguchi Cheng (she goes simply by the name Junko) is a worship leader at Saddleback Church in Southern California. She mostly writes Christian children's music, although she also writes Christian music targeted for adults. I enjoy listening to the children's music, though! Like this one. I used this song at Vacation Bible School at my church (with Junko's permission). Some of the pictures in this video were taken by me at VBS. What a delightful song!
Jana Alayra writes a lot of Christian children's music. This is a real pretty song written by Jana from the album "No Place Like Home", which is really more targeted for adults. But kids would like it, too. The children singing toward the end are Jana's children, Haley, Brittany, and Chandy.
Many of the pictures in this video were taken by me during Vacation Bible School at my church. Children are so precious, aren't they? What a delight! If you are a churchgoer and are not involved in children's ministry you're really missing out. "Now is the time".
