Joy of Jesus's Love

God loves the children of the world

God loves us all we are his children

Jesus is not hard to find

You can find and talk to Jesus anywhere

‘Cornerstone’ TobyMac And Zach Williams Official Music Video

Two musicians teamed up to perform a song about relying on and building a firm foundation on the cornerstone of life.

Life can feel like a series of unfortunate events at times. Circumstances can occur that leave individuals battered, bruised and searching for answers. Yes, hurt and struggles can cause people to question what they thought they previously knew.

However, there is One that, through everything, through all the pain and sorrow, will never leave or forsake us. Christ is the only constant in a continually changing world filled with sin and shame. He is the firm foundation and the solid rock. He is our cornerstone.

In the official music video for “Cornerstone,” a song from TobyMac and Zach Williams, the two musicians sing about that firm foundation to rely upon during life’s many trials, storms and changes.

The song’s first verse mentions that through all the trouble and cold nights, Christ is present. He provided shelter and comfort during difficult times. He “always held me close,” the musicians sing.

The song’s second verse details people struggling with sin, shame and a troubling past. While people may try and fix and manage a situation themselves, it often ends up a bigger mess than before.

However, thankfully, as the chorus points out, there is a firm foundation to build our lives upon. Christ is the cornerstone. All other ground is sinking sand.

“Seasons come and seasons go
They take me high, then leave me low
But I’m still standing on the only rock I know
You’re my cornerstone”

The song’s video also reinforces the powerful message found in the lyrics. People throughout the video are struggling with problems. They are at their lowest point, leaning on and having put their faith in things other than Christ. They are all faced with a decision: continue on with their sinking foundation or turn to the cornerstone.

Isaiah 28:16 “There thus says the Lord Yahweh, ‘Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.”

'Something To Say' Bill Gaither Live Performance

Listen to this lovely live performance of the song ‘Something To Say’ by Bill Gaither.

“Now I've heard some talkers and I've heard some teachers and I've heard some poets
And I've heard some preachers and I've sung along with some pretty good singers
And I've been in churches where the sweet Spirit lingers, but you've never lived
‘Till the words become true, ‘till forgiveness and mercy mean something to you”

In this music video, Bill Gaither is singing at the piano while others gather around him to listen to the performance. Then harmonies come in during the chorus and all of the voices sound so wonderful blended together

The video of ‘Something To Say’ by Bill Gaither was filmed live at Gaither Studios in Alexandria, Indiana last year. It is such a great song with a wonderful message. It reminds us that we sometimes have to go through tough things to have a strong testimony where mercy and forgiveness can be experienced.

“I will never tire of listening to the spirit-filled music of Bill and Gloria Gaither and friends!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Wow…. at a loss for words! Such a beautiful, peaceful song! So peaceful but such a powerful message!” writes another person online.

Throughout the years, Bill Gaither and his family have created such encouraging music and have shared it with the masses. And through it all, “the Gaithers look to their faith, lean on their friends, and continue to fill the world with music. Bill once wrote, ‘As long as God allows us to make music with a message, we’ll keep doing it.’”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Something To Say’ by Bill Gaither today. May the words of the song and the sweet melody bring you joy and encouragement as you go about your day.

Classic Performance Of ‘Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good’ From Don Williams

One country music legend performed a classic song in which he makes a direct, simple request of the Lord.

In life, there are pleasant, happy and bliss-filled occasions. Unfortunately, life can also be a difficult and arduous experience. Unexpected hurdles and obstacles can crop up, making for a painful and miserable day, week, month and even year. It can become so overwhelming, to the point where a little reprieve, such as a day, would be much welcomed.

However, in God’s Word, in Philippians 4:6, believers are instructed to bring their requests to the Lord. “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God,” the verse reads.

Country music singer Don Williams, in his song “Lord, I Hope This Day is Good,”  makes a request that most people have likely asked God for at one time or another.

In the opening verse, Don immediately sets the stage, creating a situation to which many people can relate. It can feel as if our prayers have fallen on deaf ears, that God does not hear our requests. It’s not something most people would happily admit, but it does happen. Situations in life can cause people to question God and His plan.

The song’s chorus details another experience, in which most people have likely found themselves. Some days, while we know and understand that we should be praising and thanking the Lord for another day, we simply need the strength to carry on.

“Lord, I hope this day is good
I’m feeling empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful, Lord, I know I should”

Don’s song is a catchy little tune that perfectly captures the mood and place where people can often find themselves during life’s tough, trying periods. Sometimes all we need from God is a good day to help get us through.

Mark 11:24 “For this reason, I say to you, ‘Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.’”

‘Thank God I Do’ Lauren Daigle Official Music Video

A big name in Christian music has now released a video to her song track about God’s protection, love and grace.

The world can often be dangerous, filled with hurt, heartaches and struggles. Throughout life, people will come up against many different situations that will lead to questions and tears. Anger is, most have already found, another common reaction to life’s many storms.

However, there is One who will never leave or forsake us. He will remain by our side through it all. Christian music superstar Lauren Daigle has now released a video to her song “Thank God I Do.”

The song’s opening verse mentions how Lauren has responded to these troubling situations. Lauren sings that she has witnessed times when love has come and gone, leaving her with questions and experiencing tear-filled nights. She has also found herself asking, “Will anybody stay?”

However, through it all, God has never left her side. He has sustained her and kept her safe. In the song’s chorus, she sings that without Him, she would not have made it. In fact, she sings that she’d still be wrestling with her identity and likely would have fallen off the edge if she didn’t know God.

In the song’s second verse, Lauren sings that with God and His protection, life has gotten noticeably easier. She can go on and can finally breathe once again.

“I’ve started breathing
The weight is lifted here
With you it’s easy
My head is finally clear”

Flowers, plants and bright colors are prominently displayed throughout the nearly 5-minute video. Lauren wears a blue ruffled dress and sports a flower-adorned piece on her head while she belts out the beautiful lyrics.

Several who commented on the video stated how much they appreciated Lauren’s song.

“Another song that really allows my spirit to be purified. It’s 100% Truth, I don’t know how I would do anything without you Jesus. Thank you Dear Lauren,” one person posted.

“Such a beautiful song. It really shows that we would be lost without the love and mercy of God. Thank you Lauren!!!!!” someone else added.

Isaiah 41:13 “For I, the Lord your God, have taken your right hand in mine, saying to you, ‘Have no fear; I will be your helper.’”

'Praise The King' Corey Voss Acoustic Worship Performance

Listen to this beautiful acoustic worship performance of the song ‘Praise The King’ by Corey Voss.

“There's a reason why the curse of sin is broken, there's a reason why the darkness
Runs from light, there's a reason why we stand here now, forgiven, Jesus is alive
There’s a reason why we are not overtaken, there’s a reason why we sing on through the night
There’s a reason why our hope remains eternal, Jesus is alive”

What a simple yet powerful song with the most important message to share: Jesus is alive!

Corey Voss talks about how the song ‘Praise The King’ came to be and the impact that the song has had on him.

“‘Praise The King’ was written by Michael Farren, Dustin Smith, Michael Bryce Jr., and myself. This song is a powerful anthem for the Church to sing,” Corey Voss shares. “This lyric and melody speak of the resurrection power of Christ and what He accomplished for us. I believe there are some moments in this song that will help every believer to receive and proclaim the work of Christ in their life.

Corey continues: “I’ve loved the process of seeing this song come to be. When we first wrote it, I said to the guys, ‘This is a perfect song for Easter!’ Michael smiled and said, ‘No, this is an all-year-round song! I would lead this Sunday!’ I’ve had the opportunity to lead it at my home church as well as several other churches that have never heard it before. They all had the same reaction…loud shouts and praise unto the Lord when they sing and recognize ‘There’s a reason why we stand here now forgiven, Jesus is alive!’  What an honor it is to write for His glory and for the nourishment of His people.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Praise The King’ by Corey Voss, and it was an encouragement for you today.

A Cappella Choir Sings 'How Great Thou Art' In Empty Church

Listen to this beautiful cover of the hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’ performed by a talented a cappella choir in an empty church.

“Oh Lord, my God, when I, in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art”

The woman singing in the music video is Hannah Hill, and she is performing with an a cappella choir at her alma mater. She has such a beautiful and powerful voice, and there is a lot of passion in her performance when she sings.

“What an amazing angelic voice you have been gifted,” comments one person online after watching the music video. “So beautifully done and sung from the soul, wonderful back up group as well. Heartfelt performance all the way through.”

As for the background of the hymn ‘How Great Thou Art,’ it was written in Sweden by Carl Boberg. He was an author, editor, and member of the Swedish Parliament from 1912 to 1931.

Carl shared some background about the song and how he came to write it: “It was in 1885, and in the time of year when everything seemed to be in its richest coloring; the birds were singing in trees and wherever they could find a perch. On a particular afternoon, some friends and I had been to Kronobäck where we had participated in an afternoon service. As we were returning a thunderstorm began to appear on the horizon. We hurried to shelter. There were loud claps of thunder, and lightning flashed across the sky. Strong winds swept over the meadows and billowing fields of grain. However, the storm was soon over, and the clear sky appeared with a beautiful rainbow."

He continued: "After reaching my home, I opened my window toward the sea. The church bells were playing the tune of a hymn. That same evening I wrote a poem which I titled, 'O Store Gud,' (How Great Thou Art)."

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Hannah Hill’s rendition of this beautiful hymn today!

‘Slow Down’ We Are Messengers Official Music Video

A group of talented musicians performs a song with a beautiful message, which most people would probably do well to listen to and implement.

Generally, most people have several things that cause them great anxiety or nervousness. There are worries about making next month’s rent, being able to afford groceries and fixing the latest issue with the beat-up, old car. Others may worry about employment issues or medical conditions. Some may even worry they've forgotten to do something or accomplish a specific task.

Yes, a majority of the population is good about fretting and panicking. However, sometimes, it helps to let worries go, give the mind a rest and relax a bit.

In the song “Slow Down” by We Are Messengers, the musicians instruct listeners to not get so worked up over everything. Instead, as the song title indicates, people should remember to “slow down.”

The track's opening verse begins by mentioning what is likely a big fear for many: the bank foreclosing on their house. But instead of immediately worrying about the situation and wondering where to live, something rather odd takes place. The lyrics state that the people mentioned in the song dance in the kitchen.

Instead of fear, dread and worry, the songwriter and the musicians have an unbelievable faith. The lyrics in the song’s chorus state that no matter what happens, everything will be OK.

“Slow down
Don’t have much but I promise you
Whatever comes you know we’ll make it through”

What an idea! Yes, there are things to be concerned about, to be prepared for and to avoid. But at the end of the day, what does worry really accomplish? It only multiplies the problem, adding unnecessary stress.

The Bible mentions that God will never leave or forsake us. Sometimes, the best thing to do is to pray and leave the situation entirely in His hands.

Matthew 6:34 “Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
