‘God Is In This House’ KingsPorch Official Music Video

The Lord is still more than capable of forgiving sins and healing hurts as the lyrics to one song remind us.

The world can be a dark and dangerous environment, where hurt, heartache and struggle abound. Individuals undergo many different situations that can absolutely devastate and destroy people. However, there is One who can fix those who have been shattered or destroyed. God can mend anyone previously thought broken beyond all repairs.

The song “God Is In this House” by KingsPorch mentions God’s wondrous and miraculous healing ability. No matter what you may be facing or whatever you may have gone through, God is still real, still working and “is in this house” and “that’s all that matters,” the song states.

The song's first verse does not hold anything back. The lyrics correctly mentions what keeps many people back from turning to God: their sin and shame. Instead of allowing those burdens, worries and pain to hold individuals back from seeking God, the lyrics encourage listeners to bring them all and give them to Him.

The second verse states that those only keep us from experiencing God’s love. “We don’t need them anymore” because “we are standing in the presence of the Lord,” the lyrics point out.

A verse in the latter part of the song adds what can happen if we do decide to hand over those hurts, burdens and worries. Freedom and healing can take place. God can and will perform stunning works. He will restore and repair!

Right before the conclusion of the tune, the singers sing about our ultimate victory because of Jesus Christ. He has defeated death and hell. He already paid our debt by dying on the cross.

What a beautiful song with an awe-inspiring message about the love, healing and hope found in Jesus Christ!

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middle of them.”

‘Sunday Is Coming’ Phil Wickham Official Music Video

One beautifully written and performed song recalls the events surrounding Christ’s painful death and miraculous resurrection.

John 3:16 reads that God sent his one and only son into the world so that whoever believes in Him may not die but have everlasting life. Without such a move, the world and everyone in it would be lost and confined to a life of sin and shame.

However, as detailed in Phil Wickham’s song “Sunday is Coming,” God made a way, through the painful, horrible and undeserving death of his son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world. From beginning to end, the song captures the events, starting with Judas’ betrayal to His world-altering resurrection.

The song’s opening verses describe Christ and how He understood to remove the bondage of sin and shame, it would require the death of a perfect man. He knew He had to die and willingly gave Himself up for you, me and all humanity.

The third verse points out how He was betrayed by one of the twelve, faced mockery and carried His own cross to the spot of His eventual death on Calvary. He did this all the while, as the song points out, without uttering a word in His defense. He willingly accepted His terrible fate.

However, luckily, as the song’s chorus informs us, His death is not the end!

“Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
Don’t lose hope cause Sunday is coming
Devil, you’re done
You better start running”

The song ends with the singer informing listeners that Christ is no longer dead but has arisen and He reigns upon His throne!

We do not have to fear, because Sunday is coming. Christ lives, for He has risen!

Luke 24:5 “And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth in fear, these said to them, ‘Why are you looking for the living among the dead?’”

Precious Little Girl Sings ‘Peace In Christ’

An adorable, sweet little girl provides a beautifully sung reminder about the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Many people are in a constant battle against feelings of anxiety, apprehension, dread and worry. Whether due to the headlines continuously splashed across our television screens as part of the 24-hour news cycle or the latest viral social media post predicting catastrophe, happiness, contentment and peace can be hard to find.

However, in a video posted on YouTube, one child knows where to find peace and lets everyone else in on it as she sings “Peace in Christ.” In picturesque locations, the child belts out the lyrics, informing viewers how Christ can bring them peace and contentment.

In the first verse, the child sings that Christ has love for us. He, the child sings, took our sins upon Himself. He made the ultimate sacrifice of love when he paid our debt by dying on the cross all those years ago.

Praise God!

Not only does Christ provide those who follow Him and adhere to His teachings with peace but he does so much more. The song’s chorus informs listeners that Christ gives us hope even in a hopeless situation.

Christ will also give us the strength to continue when doing so is impossible. He will protect us when we encounter one of life’s many storms, the lyrics state.

“He gives us hope
When hope is gone
He gives us strength
When we can’t go on”

There are plenty of worries, burdens and other things that can keep our minds in a constant state of panic and unease. But there is One who can alleviate all those concerns and do so much more!

What a wonderful song about the peace and contentment that only Christ can provide.

Linda Boles-What Can We Do

Sometimes we wonder how we can make a difference in a world filled with darkness. As children of God, we are called to be His hands and feet in a broken world. By sharing His love to all we can make a difference. That’s what we can do!

After a lifelong crippling fear of death, I am finally free if that fear. I’m singing Ain’t No Grave at the top of my lungs!

Classic Performance Of “I Bowed on My Knees” From Voices Of Gaither

Take five minutes and savor this glorious classic performance of “I Bowed on My Knees” from Voices of Gaither. It will make your day better!

The video, recorded live from Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX, in 1996, features five primary voices from Voices of Gaither, along with dozens of gifted artists on stage. Countless others sing from their seats in the audience.

From the gentle and genuine eyes of the first vocalist to the passionate praise of the final two minutes. From the smiles on their faces to the tears running down the faces of some, this is a body of believers on fire for Jesus!

The father of Gaither Music, William James Gaither, now almost 87 years old, wears a blue suit and quietly directs the soloists to come forward. Bill and his wife, Gloria, have written hundreds of songs—they’d composed over 700 by 2012! Two of the most recognizable are “He Touched Me” and “Because He Lives.” Their ministry is expansive but not nearly as fabulous as the Home they sing about in this song!

“I Bowed on My Knees” tells the story of a person entering Heaven, greeted by angels, and given a tour of the mansions there. But, the new resident wants to see Jesus more than anything else. Full of joy, the song reminds us of the eternity that awaits believers.

Here is the verse of the song, originally copyrighted in 1923

Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."

At 2:55, Jonathan Pierce sings the line about meeting Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Mark, and Timothy. Can you imagine! Mr. Pierce has surely met Jesus and every single one of the Bible heroes; he died at the age of 49 following heart surgery. Like so many others on the stage in Fort Worth in 1996, he left an inspiring musical legacy!

“‘Don’t cling to me,’ Jesus said, ‘for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” John 20:17

Dolly Parton and Natalie Grant Sing ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus’

Two award-winning musicians took the stage and surprised the audience at a popular theme park in Tennessee with a beautiful duet about the power and promises of Christ.

Dolly Parton is a beloved Hollywood icon who can do it all. She has starred in several hit films and produced dozens of memorable songs throughout her illustrious career. Now in her 70s, Dolly has shown no signs of slowing down.

As the video posted to YouTube shows, Dolly joined forces and teamed up with fellow musician Natalie Grant. It’s clear Dolly’s appearance was completely unexpected but very welcomed. The crowd goes wild when the “Jolene” singer takes the stage at Dollywood.

After a few warm pleasantries between the two singers, Dolly and Natalie treat the audience to a rendition of “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.” Natalie, after some light prodding from Dolly, kicks off the song, taking the first verse.

The song’s opening lyrics mention that, while lost in sin, Jesus Christ displayed His abundant love, mercy and grace. Christ after cleansing her heart, “wrote my name above” and it was “just a little talk with Jesus” that made all the difference, Natalie sings.

Dolly then joins Natalie for the catchy and truth-filled chorus about relying upon the power, love and faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

“Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by”

What powerful words, which are an excellent reminder that Christ cares about whatever obstacle that stands in our way. He wants us to bring those worries and requests to Him and lay them at His feet. He, as the song’s chorus mentions, will answer those prayer requests in time.

Dolly takes the song’s next verse, which points out that despite our fears and tears, Christ is a trusted friend and savior that will never leave or forsake us. He is an ally who keeps a constant watch, day and night. Christ, the verse adds, knows our every care.

Natalie and Dolly have a wonderful time entertaining the crowd at the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee park!

What an excellent performance by two terrific singers! Also, what a special treat for those park goers who just happened to be in the park that day.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

'The Blood Covered It All' Church Performance From The Detty Sisters

It’s something they love to do, praising God morning, noon, and night. You’ll love ‘The Blood Covered It All’ church performance from the Detty Sisters. The girls have loved Jesus from the time they could walk. The oldest, Peyton, is 11. Caidence (Cadie) is 9, followed by Lily, who is 5. And the baby of the family is 3-year-old Sophia, who goes by her nickname Curly.

If you ask them if they want to praise Jesus forever, the answer is a resounding yes. Both Peyton and Cadie, accepted Jesus at the age of 7. How did they fall in love with Jesus? The girls grew up around praise in worship, thanks to their mother Amber Detty.

She would say what they do at home is no different than at church or anywhere else. She had worship music playing at home and especially in the car. One of the first songs Peyton and Cadie learned to sing by heart was ‘Can’t Cross the Bloodline’ when they were 4 and 2 years of age. Amber had the song on repeat in the car.

Those seemingly mundane moments of riding in the car and listening soaked into the ears of her little girls. They had learned every word by heart.

Soon, their enthusiasm for Christ caught the attention of others. They began performing at church. In 2018, Amber felt the call to do something unique with her family. Amber sensed God saying, “ What we are doing at our church and in our home, I want you to share it with the world. That is exactly what we began to do.”

The Detty Sisters group was born. It took Amber out of her comfort zone, but she wanted to honor God in what their calling. From their humble beginnings of singing in the car to singing in church, the family is now booked months in advance for their special way of praising God. They recently released their first album, ‘In The Meantime,’ and they are working on their second album.

You will love watching one of their first performances, ‘The Blood Covered It All.’ It will capture your heart in their genuine love for Jesus with their sweet voices.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin,” 1 John 1:7

‘These Things Shall Pass’ Bill Gaither Worship Performance

In life, everyone will endure hardships and trials, which at the time, seem like they will never end, but one song reminds us that those difficult periods are only temporary.

Bill Gaither, a massive figure in Christian music for decades, sang recently about these times. In a video posted to YouTube, Bill is joined by friends as he sings “These Things Shall Pass.”

The video shows Bill sitting at a piano as he sings the beautiful lyrics to the uplifting and encouraging song. The song reminds us that despite our current troubling circumstances, “The Lord our God is still the King upon his throne.”

The song also mentions that these trials, while only temporary, will help to make us stronger in the long run. The lyrics state that “steel is strong because it knew the hammer and white heat.”

Also, the song adds that if we hold onto our faith and love and they remain strong, these troubling situations “cannot long endure.”

Praise God!

Unfortunately, no one will escape this life unscathed. Heartache and trouble will visit us on occasion. But instead of giving up and throwing in the towel, there is hope just beyond the horizon because God is still in control. He knows what troubles us and will never leave or forsake us, as the Bible mentions.

Others commenting on the YouTube video mentioned how they appreciated the song’s wonderful, encouraging and hopeful message.

“What a beautiful song! It touched my soul, tears came from my eyes! Thank you, Jesus! These things shall pass!” one person posted.

Thank you for this song guys. My life hasn’t turned out the way I expected but Good is good. He brought me through it all and He still is,” another person added.

2 Corinthians 1:3 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.”

‘Surrounded’ Original Song From The Men Of Anthem Lights

God’s love and protection keep us safe during dangerous and trying circumstances in life. A catchy and new song reminds us about the power of His love.

Anthem Lights, a Christian band best known for their harmonies, covers and mashups, recently released a new, original song. In “Surrounded,” the four talented singers sing about being protected and surrounded by the love of God.

Early in the song, the lyrics mention that even when we may feel alone, dealing with and facing every difficulty by ourselves, God is by our side. The Bible states in several places that God will never leave or forsake us during our time of need.

The next verse adds that God’s love is so massive, powerful and unconditional. God's love is also something that we could have never ever earned. There is no person alive deserving of such a gift!

None of us are promised tomorrow. Every day we’re alive, able to enjoy His creation, is a day to celebrate. Every breath God gives us is also a gift from Him and not something to take for granted, the song states.

After mentioning that God’s love surrounds us, the song’s lyrics add that His love is enough! Instead, the singers tell listeners that they are “never letting go” and inform God that He is in control of their life.

Without God’s unconditional love, humanity would not stand a chance. He made that ultimate sacrifice of love, dying upon the cross, taking our place all those years ago.

What a fun and catchy little song that reminds us about the unearned and unconditional love of God!

Psalm 139:5-6 “I am shut in by you on every side, and you have put your hand on me. Such knowledge is a wonder greater than my powers; it is so high that I may not come near it.”
