‘Me And God’ was a 2006 single and one of his first songs to speak on the subject of faith. In 2018, Josh even released a gospel album, titled ‘My Savior.’ Now, he’s helping us get in the Christmas spirit with the lovely words of ‘King Size Manger.’

But He fulfilled every word the prophets said”

'Mary, Did You Know?' Anne Wilson Official Audio Video

Ring in the Christmas season with the beloved words of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ from Anne Wilson.

Mark Lowry spent over 7 years perfecting the lyrics to this beloved song. The idea came to Mark when he was writing a Christmas program for Jerry Falwell.

He started thinking about what he would ask Mary if she was sitting right in front of him. He wondered how she must have felt when the angel told her she would birth a child of God. That’s when he put together the questions that eventually became the lyrics we all know and love today.

‘Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God’

Rising artist Anne Wilson has taken the Christian music scene by storm this year. You may recognize Anne for her viral video performing “What A Beautiful Name” from Hillsong Worship. After she lost her brother in an automobile accident, Anne found comfort in the words.

She performed for the first time at her brother’s funeral. Since that life-changing moment, Anne continues to share her gift with the world.

Today, she’s helping us get in the Christmas spirit with the iconic words of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’

‘Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb?
That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am’

Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

Brother And Sister Duo Perform 'I Need Thee Every Hour' Duet

Check out this talented brother and sister duo performing a duet of ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ on the guitar.

“I need Thee every hour most gracious Lord, no tender voice like Thine can peace afford
I need Thee every hour stay Thou near by, temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh
I need You now, I need You now, all I want is only You, I need You now”

The brother and sister in this music video are named Kartchner and Naomi, and they are both so talented! Their voices sound amazing together, and you can tell that they enjoy making music with one another. In the video, they are both playing guitars and are singing in front of a beautiful view as well as in a living room together.

“What a gorgeous sibling duet! Your voices harmonize so beautifully!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Wow this was so good! Simple but new, and heartwarming,” writes another person online.

The writer of the hymn ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ is Annie Hawks, and the song was written in 1872. The lyrics are a testament to her constant devotion to the Lord, praising the divine blessings of her savior. Annie stated that this hymn comes from a place of love and joy, an expression of her great appreciation for the salvation found in God.

Annie Hawks was an American poet and gospel hymnist who wrote a number of hymns with her pastor, Robert Lowry. ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ was the hymn that Annie was most widely known for, and it is said to have been translated into more foreign languages than any other modern hymn at the time of her death.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’ today, and this rendition of the hymn was uplifting and encouraging to you.

Beautiful Violin Cover Of 'Is He Worthy?' By Chris Tomlin

Listen to this beautiful violin cover of ‘Is He Worthy?” by Chris Tomlin.

“Do you feel the world is broken? (We do) Do you feel the shadows deepen? (We do)
But do you know that all the dark won't stop the light from getting through? (We do)
Do you wish that you could see it all made new? (We do)
Is all creation groaning? (It is) Is a new creation coming? (It is)
Is the glory of the Lord to be the light within our midst? (It is)
Is it good that we remind ourselves of this? (It is)”

This wonderful cover of ‘Is He Worthy?’ was performed by Daniel Jang. Daniel is such a talented violin player, and it is lovely to listen to his rendition of this beautiful song. On his YouTube page, he likes to record and share covers for the violin, piano, and guitar.

Although Chris Tomlin made 'Is He Worthy?' popular, it was Andrew Peterson who wrote the song. And Andrew shared a bit about the writing process for this song.

“I wrote the verses with the call and response sections, and then I had no idea how to write the chorus,” he said. “I thought about how this album is about the resurrection, and I remembered how in Revelation 5 this wonderful scene unfolds where John is looking around and realizing that nobody can be found worthy to break the seal and open the scroll and to ascend to the Throne. He is weeping loudly because there is nobody worthy to do this thing. He is told, ‘no behold there is someone Who is worthy.’ I love how there is also a question and answer section in the Bible, ‘Is there anyone worthy?’ And the angels answer about the power of Jesus, ‘He is.’”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this beautiful violin cover of ‘Is He Worthy?’ today!

Bluegrass Family Band Performs Classic Song 'Desperado'

Enjoy the nostalgic sounds of The Eagles as this bluegrass family band performs the iconic song, ‘Desperado.’

“Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You've been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one, I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you can hurt you somehow”

The Petersens are a family band from Branson, Missouri. The band consists of siblings, Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne, mom Karen, and family friend Emmett Franz.

This bluegrass ensemble has traveled all around the world sharing their musical talents, but you can normally find them at home in Branson. For ten seasons, The Petersens have performed at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex.

Today, they’re taking on the classic Eagles song ‘Desperado’ and it’s one performance that you don’t want to miss.

“Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you, you better let somebody love you before it's too late”

On YouTube, the band shared a little behind the scenes on the process of recording this song. “Ellen brought the song to the group with a pretty straightforward arrangement in October of 2021. We got caught up with Christmas music and shows and it went to the back burner until this summer.”

Once they began the process, Ellen already had quite a few songs in the works so they decided to have Katie perform lead vocals. And what an amazing choice that was!

I can’t wait to hear more from this talented family.

Jesus, Ayo (Thank you Jesus)

French and English languages for the glory of God. This is to thank Jesus for my deliverance and my healing. Glory be to God!

Come on and praise his name

This is one of my Christian songs, of which I have written many over the years. I wrote this some years ago and I've recently put all of my songs together in one 'album'. I'd be really grateful for any comments, thoughts or anything else in the way of 'feedback'. Thank you and God bless.
