'A Place On Calvary' The Statler Brothers Classic Performance

Rejoice in the Name of the Lord as The Statler Brothers perform ‘A Place On Calvary.’ These lyrics are a wonderful reminder that God is the source of our strength and our salvation.

“Lower my body and lift my Soul
And tell me to come on home
Let me leave this world of Sin
'Cause heaven is where I want to roam”

The Statler Brothers formed in 1955 and continued to play music until their retirement in 2002. Throughout the years, these talented men have given us hits such as ‘Flowers On The Wall’ and ‘Do You Know You Are My Sunshine?’

Today, they’re belting out the lyrics to the classic worship song, ‘A Place On Calvary.’ Just listen as they sing to the Lord with all their heart.

“I'll bow my head, raise my hands
Get down on my knees
I just beg and pray that I someday
Will have a place on Calvary”

This beautiful performance is the perfect dose of nostalgia. On YouTube, one viewer said, “We’re going to leave this old evil world of sin, & spend Eternity with our Lord & Savior; Jesus Christ!! Oh, What a day that’s going to be!!”

Another person wrote, “Give me that old time religion ❤️”

Let us  use these lyrics to give thanks to His Name. Who else is saying amen right now?

Romans 10:9 “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

'Let My Life Be Worship' Bethel Music, Jenn Johnson And Michaela Gentile

Listen to this incredible song called ‘Let My Life Be Worship’ by Bethel Music featuring Jenn Johnson and Michaela Gentile.

“This moment is holy and I hear You calling, I turn my face towards You
And my heart is open, You’re always pursuing and my life’s surrendered
You have my affection, so let my life be worship and let my heart stay true
May my love never grow cold, may it burn forevermore, may my life be worship to You”

The writers of this powerful song are Jenn Johnson, Jess Cates, Michaela Gentile, and Sam Hart. And ‘Let My Life Be Worship’ is part of Bethel Music’s new album titled Simple.

“This album focuses on the simplicity of intimate worship with God,” Bethel Music writes on their website. “We want to give the Lord our most honest, vulnerable selves and this album guides us into that desired heart posture before the Lord. As a movement, Bethel Music has been brought back to this word ‘Simple’ time and time again over the last couple of years. This project, from the lyrics and melodies to the visual landscape, has the concept of ‘simple’ woven through it. There is something so special about simplifying our worship and focusing on our song to Him, and that is exactly what this album does.”

‘Let My Life Be Worship,’ along with the rest of their songs on the new album, were recorded in Redding, CA and were captured in real time with no overdubs or augmentation.

“Our heart was to bring as real and genuine an offering as possible, and we feel confident that we have managed to accomplish just that,” writes Bethel Music. “The intentionality of every note, lyric placement, and chord progression translates through each song, as does the tender heart of each person involved. Our prayer is that you are able to pull up a chair and soak in the beauty and authenticity of this project the way we have.”

We hope that this beautiful song was able to encourage you today!

Celtic Woman Sings Angelic Version Of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

Prepare for goosebumps as the angelic vocals of Celtic Woman perform ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.

This iconic song was originally a show tune from the musical Carousel. Talented composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein wrote the song in 1945.

In later years, other artists lent their vocals to the tune and gave it mainstream media attention. Elvis Presley released his rendition of the single in 1967 and even titled his album after the song.

“When you walk through a storm hold your head up high

And don't be afraid of the dark.

At the end of a storm is a golden sky

And the sweet silver song of a lark.”

Today, the amazing vocalists of Celtic Woman are putting their own spin on this beloved tune. This incredible all-female group comes from the creators of Riverdance.

Over the years, Celtic Woman has introduced millions to the sounds of Ireland and, in the process, become a global phenomenon. Their pure tones and hauntingly beautiful harmonies put them in a league all their own.

Just listen as they belt out the words to ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’

“Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart

And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.”

These lyrics always make me think of our Lord and His constant presence in our lives. He walks with us each step of the way and we can rest assured that He will always be there to guide us home.

Job 11:18 “And you shall be secure, because there is hope; yes, you shall dig about you, and you shall take your rest in safety.”

'God Song' Live Performance From Hillsong UNITED

Check out this amazing live performance of ‘God Song’ from Hillsong UNITED.

“Oh Lord You are my God, that place belongs to only You, the author of it all
Consume these pages as You choose ‘cause if You signed Your name
Upon my heart, the way that authors always do
Then You must be proud to call me Yours and I must be made for loving You”

What an incredible worship song full of so much power and truth! This video of ‘God Song’ was filmed live in Chicago this past summer during The Tomlin & UNITED tour. And the words and music of ‘God Song’ were written by Benjamin Hastings, Hannah Hobbs, Joel Houston.

Joel from Hillsong UNITED shared some insight to how ‘God Song’ came to be and how incredible it is to worship our God.

“There is something so intimate and so beautiful about the way that God inhabits our praises,” he shares. “There is something just so powerful, when you think about what it is to worship God or what it is for us to give thanksgiving, surrender, devotion, or whatever it is that we bring, from the depths of our heart, with breath…I think that was the picture. This idea that this God of the universe, God who is outside the ends of time, this God who is the architect of life, he draws every breath. And I love that picture.”

He continues: “This God cares so much about intimacy, and so much about out need for Him, our dependence on Him, and so much on our desire to honor Him and place Him not just first in our lives, but to consume whatever it is that we do with our lives, with our hands or with our time or our words or our gifts…think about worship in its purest form. And yet, the God who is just magnificent beyond our understanding, all of that is captured in the depth of who we are.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘God Song’ today and it was able to bring you encouragement.
