'Do You Hear What I Hear?' For King And Country Picture Story Video

Listen to the Christmas song ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ performed by For King And Country in this lyrics video. “Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy, do you hear what I hear? Ringin' through the sky, shepherd boy, do you hear what I hear? A song, a song, high above the trees with a voice as big as the sea With a voice as big as the sea” This is one Christmas song that reminds you of the birth of Jesus and the excitement that surrounds his arrival. And For King And Country does a great job making ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ their own! “I love how you take classic Christmas songs and adapt them to your own style! You guys are the best!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “I absolutely loved this! Your versions of these classic Christmas songs are amazing! I love you guys! God Bless!” writes another person online. In an interview that For King And Country gave at the end of last year when they released their Christmas album, the group shared their thoughts about the power of ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ and other Christmas hymns. “These Christmas songs are a reminder to us that a baby boy came over 2,000 years ago and just because a pandemic happened doesn’t eradicate or remove the baby boy who came over 2,000 years ago— He’s still here, He still came and He’s still with us,” they said. “I think that’s what music does— a good song gets stuck in your head for a reason. For a good song to get stuck in your head with eternal truths, that’s a brilliant thing to get stuck in your head. I hope that’s what these songs do for people. I hope they’re a reminder of hope, that all is not lost.” We hope that you enjoyed listening to For King And Country’s version of ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ today!

'Away In A Manger' Gaither Vocal Band Performance

Remember the real reason for the season as The Gaither Vocal Band performs 'Away In A Manger.' This classic Christmas hymn is always a favorite and the inspiring words are the perfect way to celebrate the birth of our Savior. “Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head; the stars in the heavens looked down where He lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.” The Gaither Vocal Band is a popular all-male southern ensemble. This group has been sharing their gospel music for decades. The band name comes from the founder and leader, Bill Gaither, who has written countless hymns and worship favorites. Since 1981, this group has performed hundreds of beloved worship tunes and beautiful original songs all over the world. While some of the members have changed, the group still remains committed to spreading God’s message through music. Today, they are performing a beautiful rendition of ‘Away In A Manger’ and it is exactly what we all need to hear this Christmas season. “Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask Thee to stay close by me forever and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, and fit us for heaven, to live with Thee there.” As we walk through this Christmas season, let us remember the true reason for our celebrations and keep our minds on God and His gift of Jesus Christ. Luke 2:8-9 “And there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them.”

'Amazing Grace' The Band Steele Performs Classic Hymn

Listen to this country performance of ‘Amazing Grace’ by The Band Steele and be reminded of God’s love for you as you listen to the words. “Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see” What a wonderful rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ from The Band Steele! There really is nothing better than hearing a song that gives praise to the Lord. God made the ultimate sacrifice for us when He sent His only Son to Earth to die for our sins. Because of this gift, we are now forgiven and free to live out our days in Heaven above. The song ‘Amazing Grace’ gets a country twist when The Band Steele sings it. According to their website, this group is made up of “longtime friends, Alabama boys - Bo Steele/Ben Rubino - who’s momentum has been explosive since aligning with their label (Fire River Records).” The Band Steele has also performed in many different venues. They have headlined “NASCAR events, fairs and festivals, sharing the stage with multi-platinum selling artists such as Andy Grammer, Maren Morris, Hunter Hayes and Lee Brice, and were invited to play at the ‘Orange County Choppers (American Choppers)’ showroom.” The group also went on a 2019 Military Tour, which included performances at military bases across the country. It is great to see The Band Steele using their talents to praise the Lord and worship His Name for all the world to hear. We hope that you enjoyed listening to their rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ and it was able to encourage you today! John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

As we celebrate with family, keep God at the forefront and give thanks in all that you do. Luke 2:6-7 “6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.”

Check out the official music video for the new song from We Are Messengers called ‘Holding On.’ “I can't carry your cross but you can't carry mine, I know that it hurts, I know that it cuts So deep inside, I know none of it's easy, you can take your time, you can't hurry grieving It's hard to believe but there's joy in the ride, so I'll keep on holding on 'Cause I know you're holding me, I'll keep on moving on 'cause I know you'll carry me So I'll walk through the fire ‘cause I know you're next to me, so I'll keep on holding on” In this beautiful music video, you see scenes of a family gathered together, praying before a meal, and enjoying each other’s company. Then they are seen going on a family walk and holding hands. It is a wonderful picture of the love within a family. Darren Mulligan, the lead singer of We Are Messengers, recently shared about the song ‘Holding On’ and the meaning behind it. “There is a lyric on the song ‘Holding On.’ It’s one of those deep album cuts, but it’s one of my favorites on the record. ‘There’s a reason for living / Stick around and you’ll see / Yeah, it’s a tough season / But loss still has meaning / There’s fruit on that tree / So I’ll keep on holding on,’ he shared. He continued: “It’s a song we wrote with a friend of ours who had lost his child. We wanted to write a song for people who are just wrestling continuously with something hard. And encourage them that sometimes all you can do is hold on and wait. I think that line really speaks to me and our hope is that it will keep many people alive who are wrestling with mental health issues, depression, anxiety, and suicide. Those people need an opportunity to have their voices heard and sometimes all they can do is hold on.” We Are Messengers has such impactful, real, and beautiful music, and we hope that you were encouraged by their song ‘Holding On’ today!
