'Never Walk Alone' Hillsong Worship Acoustic Performance

Feel comfort in the arms of the Lord as Hillsong Worship performs an acoustic rendition of ‘Never Walk Alone.’ These beautiful lyrics remind us that God walks with us and He will never leave our side. “And I have confidence You go before me You're my deliverer I know I never walk alone” Hillsong Worship has been a leader in Christian music since 1983. The group started as the band for their home church, in Sydney, Australia. But as their popularity grew, the group decided to share their talents with the entire world and help spread God’s Word. Decades later, they are still one of the top names in Christian music with hits like ‘What A Beautiful Name’ and ‘Who You Say I Am.’ Today, Hillsong Worship is at New Song Café for an acoustic performance of their single, ‘Never Walk Alone.’ Just listen as their anointed voices come together and praise our King. “You're always faithful, You're strong and able I'm lifting my head in You I find help You're my providence” On Instagram, Hillsong Worship shared their hope for the song. “We pray that as you worship to this song, it would an anthem of remembrance, glorifying the God who goes before us and never leaves us.” What a beautiful reminder that the strength of the Lord is by our side. Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Praise the Lord

A song of praise about the greatness of our God.

'Edge Of My Seat' Live From TobyMac And Cochren And Co.

Listen to this song called ‘Edge Of My Seat’ by TobyMac featuring Cochren And Co. “Well, I thought that I had seen most everything, and if jaded was a people, I'd be the king So cold to what a brand new day could bring, so icy cold to all the wonder That should be movin' me, overthinking You, hot like June, I'm jumpin' out my skin Just tryin' to catch a view, You got me on the edge, got me on the edge of my seat You got me on the edge, I am on the edge of my seat” What a fun and upbeat song! The music video was filmed in Denver, CO at the Hits Deep Tour. The music and lyrics just make you want to get up and dance and sing along! During the performance, TobyMac addresses the audience and shares with them what it means to live like you’re on the edge of your seat. “Now look, Denver. The way I see it, there are two postures in which we can live our day,” he says. “The first posture in which we can tackle our day is called the jaded posture. Now you get way back here in the back of your chair, arms crossed, eyes rolled, and you start saying stuff like today ‘I’ve got to do this, today I’ve got to do that.’ Now that’s one posture we can take on with our day.” As TobyMac is explaining this, he is sitting all the way back in his chair, slumped over. Then he changes his position and goes on to share about how we can live on the edge of our seat and partner with God. “Then there’s this other posture,” he says. “It’s called getting out on the edge of your seat. When you open your eyes wide with wonder of what God is gonna do with this day that’s in front of me. And you start saying things like, ‘Today I get to do this. Today Father we get to do that.’ That right there is called living your life on the edge of your seat.” May we all take that position when we face each day! Let us get excited about all the things that we get to do with God on our side!

2 Sisters Sing Gospel Song 'Never Alone' During Blind Auditions

A pair of judges almost go to the mat over two sisters who sing the gospel song “Never Alone” during blind auditions on “The Voice.” Seriously, there is no actual fighting; that wouldn’t be the way to win over these talented, adorable church-singing sisters. However, there is a little sass in the air as two vie for the opportunity to coach Macie and Marie, 15 and 14, respectively. Modestly dressed, Macie wears blue and Marie wears pink. They have a youthful energy and look, but they’ve got a couple of big, grown-up voices. Here’s the thing, though. Initially, none of the judges know they are listening to two girls. Ariana gets props because she is the first to suggest that they are two. And, although she’s also the first to sorta sit up and take notice with an “ooh,” she didn’t turn around, which seems to be something she regrets later on. The girls start slowly, singing one at a time. In short order, they are delivering long, strong notes that have Kelly and John turning around almost together. Dad, who is backstage with Host Carson Daly, is as much fun to watch as are his precious daughters. He punches the air several times in celebration and resumes dancing. Dad is wearing a cross necklace, and his arms are outstretched wide; he is experiencing pure joy! Macie and Marie now join hands and voices, and they, too, are clearly spirit-filled! Though Kelly appeared a bit taken aback by the sight of two talents on stage when she faced forward, she is ready to make her case by the time the song ends. After initial introductions and a welcome from a remorseful Ariana, John and Kelly take their turns. John is from Ohio, as are the Cunninghams. And, by the way, we’ve now got a quick glimpse of the loving, smiling family at home—Mom and four siblings. John started singing in church just as Macie and Marie did. And, John doesn’t even have a duo or trio yet on his team! Kelly shares that her mother is from Ohio and she, herself, sang in church. And, the group she already has is nothing like The Cunningham Sisters. The girls seem to have more in common with John. But, Kelly is feisty. She pulls out all the stops and gives the girls her first coaching lesson with some suggestions on how she might help them “learn new stuff.” Ariana poses the pivotal question to the girls. Who will it be? Carson asks Dad if it will be John, but Dad isn’t sure. And, sure enough… Macie and Marie choose Kelly! Kelly, who has just taken a drink, throws herself back in her chair in surprise. She quickly composes herself and meets her new team members on stage. She is thrilled. She’s just gained a couple of angels for Team Clarkson! “When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:” Luke 19:37

'Down To The River To Pray' The Detty Sisters And Family Sing Classic Hymn

Praise the Lord as The Detty Sisters and family sing the classic hymn ‘Down to The River To Pray.’ This special song reminds us that God is always listening and He hears each and every one of our prayers. “As I went down in the river to pray Studying about that good old way And who shall wear the starry crown Good Lord, show me the way!” The Detty Sisters are comprised of four country cuties from southern Ohio. Peyton, Cadie, Lily and Sophia have all been singing worship songs since a very young age. Peyton and Cadie would sing in church and it eventually transformed into playing other venues and even releasing an album of hymns. Today, The Detty Sisters and their mom are leading us in worship with the beautiful hymn ‘Down To The River To Pray.’ “O sisters, let's go down, Let's go down, come on down O sisters, let's go down Down in the river to pray” This song is a favorite by so many and hearing these anointed voices worship the Lord is absolute perfection. One user said, “I could listen to you all all the time. I just love you all. God is smiling down on you all. Very precious family.” We are so blessed to serve such a loving and gracious and Lord and this hymn is a wonderful way to praise His Name. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Pan Flute Performance Of 'How Great Thou Art'

Enjoy a unique rendition of a beloved hymn as David Döring performs ‘How Great Thou Art’ on the pan flute. This classic hymn was originally written in 1885 by Swedish evangelist, Rev. Carl Boberg. He is credited with setting the words to a Swedish folk melody. The hymn then became translated to German, to Russian, and then into English by English missionary Stuart Hine. He was inspired while working in Ukraine and hearing a congregation sing the song in Russian. However, ‘How Great Thou Art' did not gain worldwide popularity until George Beverly Shea performed it on a Billy Graham crusade in 1957. Now the iconic words are performed in churches all across the globe. ""O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed” David Döring is a self-taught Pan flutist. The instrument is a series of tubes, most typically made of bamboo or reeds and creates a truly remarkable sound. The pan flute is traditionally played in folk music throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. Today, we have the pleasure of hearing this unique instrument played in a way that gives praise to our Lord in Heaven. Just listen as David plays a soothing rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art’ set against a relaxing backdrop. “Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art"" What a beautiful way to give praise to His Name. Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

'Healer' Evan Craft Acoustic Performance

Check out the acoustic performance of the song ‘Healer’ by Evan Craft and hear the story behind the song in this video. The music video starts off with four people worshipping in a bare room. There is one person playing the keyboard, one person playing drums, one playing the guitar, and the vocalist is also playing the guitar. He starts off singing the lyrics of the song, and it is so beautiful to hear. “You said if we believe then greater things would come, so pour Your Spirit out Like a river like a flood, deliver every heart, body, soul, and mind All the darkness bows, before the feet of Christ The Healer’s in this place, the Healer’s in this place Jesus, You are moving in our praise, there’s freedom in Your name There’s freedom in Your name, Jesus, You are Healer in this place” What a powerful and uplifting worship song! The writers of the song include Evan Craft, Monty Rivera, Christine D'Clario, Ryan Ellis, and Josh Silverberg. And the scripture references for the song ‘Healer’ include Isaiah 35:5 and Isaiah 57:18-19. In an interview after the music, Evan Craft talks about how important “Healer’ is to him and the inspiration behind the words of the song. “‘Healer’ to me is a very, very special song. It’s one of my favorites that I really believe is God-breathed,” he says. “I believe that God is still moving. I believe that healing is a very sensitive and delicate topic because there are people who wait for healing their whole lives and experience it on the other side of eternity. There are people who experience it now. And you know, God is moving. God is healing people. And sometimes we have to submit to how He’s doing it. We don’t understand it, and that’s very painful and difficult sometimes. But this song is a declaration.” The worship song ‘Healer’ reminds us of what God’s word says and that we can count on Him to be our ultimate Healer, in whatever way God has planned for us. May this song encourage you today!

'Friend Of Sinners' We Are Messengers Official Music Video

Christian rock band We Are Messengers reminds us of God’s love with ‘Friend Of Sinners.’ Despite our sins and shortcomings, God continues to accept and forgive us. “Jesus, friend of sinners Your heart is full of grace Loved me long before I wanted to change” We Are Messengers is a Christian band originating in Ireland. Comprised of members Darren Mulligan, Kyle Williams, Drew Kerxton, and Drake Kennedy, the band found success with hits such as ‘Magnify’ and ‘Maybe It’s Ok.’ Today, they are sharing a powerful message with ‘Friend Of Sinners.’ “Jesus, friend of sinners Your table is where I find That someone just like me could sit by Your side The friend of sinners is a friend of mine” ‘Friend Of Sinners’ was written by lead vocalist Darren Mulligan, with help from Ethan Hulse and Jeff Pardo. The song was inspired by Darren’s real-life relationship with God. “The God I heard about as a child was obsessed with me being good, and it didn’t seem remotely possible that He could ever be a friend of sinners, of which I was surely one,” Darren told FreeCCM. But after his wife converted to Christianity, Darren learned more about God and felt his over revelation. “The Jesus I know and read about in the Bible was a friend of sinners, and because of that, I know He is a friend of mine.” We are all forgiven and that is such a beautiful message to always remember. Isaiah 1:18 ““Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”

'Be Thou My Vision' The Petersens Give Classic Hymn A Bluegrass Makeover

Enjoy the bluegrass sounds of The Petersens as they perform ‘Be Thou My Vision.’ This 8th century Irish hymn was originally translated by Eleanor Hull in 1912. The version that we hear today is sung to the famed Irish folk tune ‘Slane.’ Over the years, many Christian artists and other musicians have covered the hymn, leading to its growing popularity. Despite its age, the powerful words of this hymn still ring true today. “Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me, save that thou art - thou my best thought, by day or by night; waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.” The Petersens are a family band from Branson, Missouri. This bluegrass ensemble has traveled all around the world sharing their musical talents, but you can normally find them at home in Branson. For ten seasons, The Petersens have performed at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex. Today, they are performing the classic hymn ‘Be Thou My Vision’ and it’s truly a worship-filled moment. “Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word; I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord. Thou my great Father; thine own may I be, thou in me dwelling and I one with thee.” On YouTube, they wrote about the heart behind the song. “May we never lose sight of what is truly important in this life and where our hope lies.” Our hope lies in the Lord and we can never be led astray when God is by our side. Ezekiel 36:26 “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
