“First Baptist Church exists to glorify God, and work with Him as He builds His kingdom. We do this through dynamic worship, intentional evangelism, life-changing discipleship, loving relationships, and compassionate ministry.”
Our Vision – FBC Vision Statement
“For God’s glory, we will be a church sharing Christ with all people, becoming like Him, and sharing His love in order to make an impact in our community and beyond.”
At First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie, we are reaching out to have a positive impact for God’s Kingdom in our city and beyond. We do this through diligent outreach to let everyone know of the life-changing power that is found only in Christ Jesus. If you and your family are looking for a place where you can make a positive difference we invite you to come join us as we are used by God to be “salt and light”, reaching one neighbor, friend or loved-one at a time.
At First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie, we teach and preach the Word and the practical application of God’s direction in our lives. The Bible comes to life through Dr. Skaar’s sermon series, through invigorating teaching in a variety of Bible Study classes that will make you feel right at home as you grow in Christ.
Join with us at First Baptist Church as we do more than simply talk about loving our community. You’ll find our family providing food through our food pantry, making a difference through community projects coordinated with the City of Grand Prairie, joining up with Habitat for Humanity to help make homes out of houses and mission projects that have taken our members throughout the U.S.A. and to places like China, Indonesia, Germany & Peru. If you want to be part of a family who truly cares about its community and beyond, First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie is where you want to be. We look forward to growing with you.
