'Because Of Christ' The Belonging Co Acoustic Performance

Praise the Lord as The Belonging Co. performs an acoustic performance of ‘Because Of Christ’ at The New Song Cafe. These beautiful words are the perfect reminder that His blood saved us all.

“May I never boast in anything
Except the cross of Jesus Christ
May I not forget the blood He shed
It is by His death I am alive, Because of Christ, I am alive”

The Belonging Co is a church based in Nashville, Tennessee that started in 2014. Through the years, they have partnered with various Christian artists to help spread God’s word through music. From Kari Jobe to Natalie Grant, this church continues to help talented worship leaders praise our King.

Today, these talented vocalists are at The New Song Cafe for an amazing, acoustic performance of ‘Because Of Christ.’ After the song, stayed tuned for the story behind the words and learn how to play the song, on your own, at home.

“Hallelujah, hallelujah. Praise the One who set me free.
Death has lost its grip on me. Hallelujah, hallelujah
Jesus rose in victory
He's alive, alive in me”

This song is just what my soul needed to hear today. A simple reminder that He is alive in our hearts and will continue to give us strength until the end of time.

Luke 17:6 “And the Lord said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this sycamine tree, Be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”

'Nineveh' Brooke Ligertwood Live Performance

Check out the live performance of the beautiful worship song ‘Nineveh’ by Brooke Ligertwood.

“Nineveh, oh Nineveh, the Lord is turning toward you, compassion or calamity
Will you heed the warning, fall on your knees, tear down your idols
When you choose surrender, you choose survival, call on His Name"

What a stunning and wonderful song that tells the narrative journey of the book of Jonah in the Bible. And then it concludes on a personal, individual challenge for the listener.

Brooke Ligertwood wrote ‘Nineveh’ with Pastor Steven Furtick, and Brooke shares about the songwriting process in a recent interview.

“When Pastor Steven Furtick messaged me in the spring of 2021 and said he and I should write a song called ‘Nineveh,’ the ‘world’ of this song immediately sprung to life in my spirit and we began and completed this work a relatively short time later,” says Brooke.

"Turn from your violence, out of the ashes, He will revive You
God have mercy, God have mercy, I know You are a gracious God
I know You’re slow to anger but I misunderstood Your love, forgive me God for running”

She continues: “It is a rare and deep joy to be able to write a song that closely examines a narrative of scripture while simultaneously inviting the listener to allow the scripture to examine them. ‘Nineveh’ is one such rarity and I feel honored to have co-written it with a songwriter and thinker I immensely respect – it was a joy from beginning to end.”

The song ‘Nineveh’ is the second single from Brooke Ligertwood’s forthcoming live solo album titled SEVEN that releases on February 25.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to the live performance of ‘Nineveh’ by Brooke Ligertwood today and it was able to encourage you in some way.

'In Jesus Name (God of Possible)' Katy Nichole Worship Song Hits 80 Million Views

When you listen to this beautiful worship song called ‘In Jesus Name (God of Possible)’ by Katy Nichole, you’ll see why it hit over 80 million views online in just a couple of months!

“I speak the name of Jesus over you, in your hurting, in your sorrow, I will ask my God to move
I speak the name cause it's all that I can do, in desperation, I'll seek heaven
And pray this for you, I pray for your healing, that circumstances would change
I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus name, I pray that a breakthrough
Would happen today, I pray miracles over your life in Jesus name, in Jesus name”

Before singer/songwriter Katy Nichole released her song ‘In Jesus Name (God of Possible)’ to digital and streaming outlets, she shared a piece of it on TikTok and Instagram. And millions of people have listened to it already and have connected to its message about God’s healing and the power of prayer.

“This song is one of the greatest gifts God could ever give me. I want to be a good, faithful servant to the Lord. I’m just grateful to be His vessel,” shares Katy.

Before writing this song, Katy had surgery on her spine to fix her scoliosis. This led to persistent post-surgery pain that really took its toll on her. Three years later, Katy had another operation done to remove the metal rods that had been placed in her back in the previous surgery.

“I go into the second surgery, and I come out of it, and the smoke cloud of depression was gone. I encountered the Lord in that moment. When I got my X-rays after surgery, my spine was actually straighter than when the rods had been in it. So, when I say that God can do miracles, I mean it, because I’ve seen it,” Katy shares.

This talented singer hopes that her story of healing and her song about God’s healing power will encourage those who need it.

“There’s no story that doesn’t matter to God. Every story was written by Him, and He’s the greatest author of all time,” Katy says. “God’s healed me, so I know He can heal someone else. I’m going to share my story and hope it will encourage others to go and share theirs.”

You Are Gods Choice

You are not a mistake
you are not a coincidence
you just happened to be one of the chosen that the odds are against
but you must remain dominant in a hostile environment
because within your mind, body and soul
is Infinite intelligence
So be the solar controller cause like the sun you are to be dominant as you are born brilliant-ingenious-magnificent
and even if you don't comprehend it, God knows that you're relevant
You went down the wrong path, now try the path of knowledge
with no apology for your new ideology, theology
cause then you will see, clearly now, the rain is gone
the pain is a thorn because your a rose
you were left for dead, but Gods child arose
Faith is when you cant see him
intuition is when you hear his voice
Do your thing God!
Told me to tell you...that you are his choice!
Seeking people of the universe, this is yours!

“Things are getting real, Jesus take the wheel, only way I’m getting to the other side
Days are getting dark, life’s a little hard, blinded, but I’m tryin not to lose sight
I don’t got this, I know you got this, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I’ll believe it"

What a joyful and uplifting song ‘See Me Through It’ is, and it is definitely a song that you could listen to over and over again! It is a great reminder of God’s faithfulness and how He sees us through every trial and hardships.

"Before I see it, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you’re gonna see me through it
If anybody can you can do it, God I know in the trial and the pain
Fire and the rain, You’re gonna see me through it”

Brandon Heath wrote ‘See Me Through It’ along with fellow songwriters Kyle Williams, Ran Jackson, and Heather Morgan. Brandon recently shared some of his thoughts about the song and the meaning behind it.

“We all walk through difficult seasons in our lives. That’s definitely nothing new, but one thing that is particularly unique about right now is that we all seem to have a very similar challenge. And for some of us, it feels like rock bottom. But, we can know what Rock we’re standing on, and He’s not going anywhere,” Brandon says. “No matter how lost we feel or how difficult things get, He sees us where we are, and He’s going to see us through it.”

Nothing is impossible with God, and it is songs like this that can help us remember that important truth. We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘See Me Through It’ today and it was able to bring joy to your heart!
