'My Soul Will Wait' Worship Song Inspired By Psalm 62

Sovereign Grace Music has done it again. They created a beautiful, inspiring, and uplifting song that is sure to be a battle cry for Christ-followers. Incredibly, ‘My Soul Will Wait’ worship song is inspired by Psalm 62.

In this psalm, David encourages God’s people to put their faith and trust in God. Because God is our best defense, he is our rock and salvation! He begins the psalm reminding us our rest comes from the Lord:

Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

These words give us hope and remind us God is always there for us. In the song, ‘My Soul Will Wait’ the worship ballad conveys that God is our rock, our salvation, and our steadfast hope that will never be shaken and Sovereign Grace Music does a beautiful job sharing the message of the song with their lovely vocals and pitch-perfect harmonies.

One listener wrote, “Thank you Sovereign Grace. This is “my” Psalm. I became a widow at the age of 29. Verse 8 of Psalm 62 says “Pour out your heart before Him, God is a refuge for us.”  So that’s what I did, continually poured it all out to Him who heals and delivers. That was 27 years ago and I am a grandmother now who sees what this world is becoming and needs to be reminded of these words from our Father. Thank you for reminding me through this beautiful song. God bless you!”

Another posted, “Yes, and amen!  You are my Solid Rock, I rejoice in the Lord always!  My soul will wait, my soul will for You!  A beautifully composed worship song (my favorite - Psalm (62)).  Loved the touch with the camera acknowledging God's Word (Bible) sitting on the keyboard.  At a time of great confusion, deception, and delusion (all stemming from the lies of the evil one), forgive us Lord, and strengthen us, as we totally surrender, pouring out our hearts before You.”

We hope this music video encouraged and uplifted your soul. Share this song with a friend who needs encouragement today!

A Place Called Home

This is a song in memory of my granny, Jeaney Edwards, who passed away recently. We are celebrating her heavenly healing and grateful for the time God allowed us to have with her.

We will one day see her again in heaven, PTL!

Fly Swiftly

On 3rd Jan 2022, I was worshiping and had a vision of the Lord swooping down like an eagle. Afterwards I painted the eagle. This video is a combination of the recording of that worship, and the painting of the eagle.

Zach Williams Asked God for a Sign and He Sent It Through a Song

Zach Williams asked God for a sign and he sent it through a song. This is so incredible!

Have you ever asked God for a sign? It’s a bold thing to do and I believe most of us have asked at one point or another in our lives. Sometimes out of desperation or frustration, we ask God for a physical, tangible sign to confirm he is speaking to us.

In 2012, Zach had left his family to go on tour in Europe. Before he left, his wife told him he needed to make some major changes otherwise he wouldn’t get to come home to his family.

He had been struggling with alcohol and drug addiction for years. The conversation with his wife was a wake-up call and he was desperate for help. That’s when Zach prayed. His parents had raised him to follow God but he had drifted from his relationship with Christ and fell prey to addiction. So he prayed for God to help him and asked for a sign.

It was not a coincidence the way his prayers were answered. He was traveling in the middle of Spain when the bus driver turned on the radio and landed on a music station that was playing the song. “Redeemed,” by Big Daddy Weave. Zach couldn’t believe it, of all places, and in all the ways God could have reached out, he used a song to confirm he had heard Zach’s prayer.

After years of running from God, Zach turned around and ran to God. He called his wife to tell her he was coming home and canceling the tour. He knew at that moment, no matter what hardship would come his way, God would be with him.

Incredibly, Zach was able to break free of his addictions and get his life back on track. The music he sings continues to remind us all we have a loving, heavenly Father who hears our prayers and holds us close. Even when we stray. Zach’s favorite Bible verse reminds us there is no fear in love and we are made perfect in God’s love.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

High School Choir Performs 'Beneath the Cross of Jesus'

It is always encouraging to watch young people come together and sing. In this video, a high school choir performs “Beneath the Cross of Jesus.”

More than one hundred students, dressed in white and aqua blue, gathered together on the edge of a cliff by the ocean in Kauai, Hawaii. The young people are singing a beautiful choral piece that draws us into the peace and rest that we find in Jesus. The students are smiling and joyfully celebrating the hope in Christ while being filmed in a most majestic place that points to His glory in creation. We see images of the ocean waves crashing against the island and the breeze moving through the students’ hair.

This Canadian Christian school is called Fountainview Academy. The rendition is unified and angelic. Each voice blends so wonderfully and listening to this will lead anyone into a peaceful mindset of resting in the shadow of God’s wing.

The lyrics say:

Beneath the cross of Jesus
I fain would take my stand,
the shadow of a mighty Rock
within a weary land.

As these students stand singing and playing instruments, they are pointing to the source of our joy and strength. As they stand amidst stunning scenery, we are also reminded of the uncertainty of the seas and the trials in our own lives. As we listen to the calming melody and thought-provoking lyrics, may we be reminded that God sees us today and because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we can rest in His work. It is not because of anything that we do. It is all because of Him.

“Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings.” Psalm 17:8

I'll Meet You There (Daddy's Song)

This song was written and recorded after the passing of my Daddy. The biggest lesson he taught me was integrity. Do everything with integrity. It was just 9 days from diagnosis to death for my Daddy, but he’s not dead. He’s just replaced this earthly body with his perfect one in heaven. After telling me how he knew he was going to heaven (He knew/knows Jesus), I can rest assured that He is in heaven.
You see, I know his new address! While it sucked that he passed away (just being real), the is such a joy that I know that I’ll be reunited with him one day in heaven. Our prayer with this song is just that. That no matter what the loss is or was for anyone, that they know the love and compassion of our Lord steps in and has them in His hand. And if God will do that for our loved ones in heaven, He will certainly do it for us while we still wait to be with Him.

Heart of Passion

Heart of Passion is a song of worship, dedication, and surrender to God. I wrote and sang it as a prayer, asking God to cleanse, purify, empower, and send me as Christ's ambassador to the world.

"Godly passion, pure desire, cleanse me with your holy fire! God, I come on bended knee, clothe me with humility."

After years of singing this song, I teamed up with my very talented son JJ Weller. He wrote and recorded some excellent guitar, keyboard, bass, and background vocals. Together, we pray this song ministers to you as you worship God with it!

High Schoolers Lead Us In Worship With 'Tell The Mountain'

Feel the strength of the Lord as the high school choir from Fountainview Academy perform ‘Tell The Mountain.’ These words are the perfect reminder that there is no obstacle too big to face when God is by our side.

“In the foothills of sorrow looking up from the valley of fear
You can see doubt off in the distance and you're about to lose heart right here
But don't ever give in don't ever give up
God is with you and you'll overcome”

The Fountainview Academy is a Christian high school located in Canada. And these choir students take their mission very seriously. On the school website, the music program aims for “reaching those who are searching for Christ through media, and music productions.”

Today, they are leading us in worship with this beautiful performance of ‘Tell The Mountain.’ Just listen as they belt out these words of love and praise to our King.

“The mountain will tell you that you can't make it over
It will try to convince you that it's way too high
Though you feel defeated know that God keeps His promise
So you tell the mountain just how big your God is”

One viewer felt so moved by this performance and wrote, “WOW! I just pulled into a church parking lot to hear this song. I feel the spirit moving in this song. My prayer is that others will be blessed as I was when they hear this song. Blessings to all.”

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written to you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

He has surely borne our griefs
