The Gaither Vocal Band is a popular all-male southern ensemble. This group has been sharing their gospel music for decades. The band name comes from the founder and leader, Bill Gaither, who has written countless hymns and worship favorites.

Since 1981, this group has performed hundreds of beloved worship tunes and beautiful original songs all over the world. While some of the members have changed, the group still remains committed to spreading God’s message through music. The current group is comprised of Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Bill Gaither.

Today, these 5 men are gathered to lead us in worship with the powerful words of ‘Oh, Can You See It.’ Just listen as they belt out these words of love and praise to our King.

Watch as this 10-year-old rocks the stage with “Bohemian Rhapsody” and has everyone feeling a lotta Freddie Mercury during her school’s talent show performance! Pretty and pint-sized, Kaitlyn Phan Wallace approaches the stage looking a smidge timid, but, boy, there’s nothing shy about this young lady when she starts singing!

Kaitlyn takes her seat at the piano and the emcee introduces her, stating that “our next performer is no stranger to the stage.” And, that is clear as Kaitlyn plays the widely-recognized piano opening of the super hit—one that resonates with music lovers across multiple generations. 

She’s adjusted her microphone and checked her foot positioning, and Kaitlyn delivers the instrumental introduction perfectly. As she sings the first words of the ballad, it’s obvious that her piano and vocal gifts are both exceptional. Incidentally, Kaitlyn plays several instruments, including guitar and drums.      

The everyday listener can hear the vibrato in her voice and observe her strength and control as she renders each impactful word of the song. And, her transition from “Bohemian Rhapsody” to “The Show Must Go On” is impressive. Kaitlyn draws out the final word of her first selection just long enough, without going flat, and moves seamlessly into the second. 

The camera scans the audience, which includes a lot of white shirts. This may very likely be a private school, where uniforms are the norm. Hopefully, none of these students will ever experience hardships like Mr. Mercury did when his bandmate Brian May penned the song. “The Show Must Go On” allows Kaitlyn to demonstrate her range as she hits the high notes required during the last moments of her performance.  

When Kaitlyn finishes, she pops up, bows to the crowd, and bounces off the stage in the most unassuming way—just as she had begun. While the kiddos in the audience may not have recognized the songs Kaitlyn performed, they know she did a great job! 

Kaitlyn has a diverse taste, by the way. She sings Christian songs and Southern Rock, as well as other genres on her YouTube channel, KW Adventures. Kaitlyn turned ten on the day of the talent show, and this little princess did her very best to make Queen proud!

Feel a dose of nostalgia as contemporary Christian artist Anne Wilson performs her latest single, ‘Sunday Sermons.’ These beautiful words take us back in time to sitting at church listening to those momentous sermons that shaped the foundation of our faith.

I could hear my Savior calling, telling me how much He loves me
No matter what the world throws at me”

Rising artist Anne Wilson has taken the Christian music scene by storm this year. You may recognize Anne for her viral video performing “What A Beautiful Name” from Hillsong Worship. After she lost her brother in an automobile accident, Anne found comfort in the words.

She performed for the first time at her brother’s funeral. Since that life-changing moment, Anne continues to share her gift with the world.

Today, she’s taking us back to our roots with the powerful words of ‘Sunday Sermons.’

Anne shared the story behind the song with The Christian Beat. Since she was a little girl, Anne remembers sitting in the church pew listening to sermons. But it wasn’t until later in life that she truly understood what they truly meant. “No matter what happens in life – even losing a loved one, I can always go back to that foundation of truth that the Lord planted in me through each of those sermons.”

Though we don’t know the author of this classic hymn, it was first recorded in 1941. Since that time, this gospel tune has become an all-time favorite for many for it’s moving lyrics and jazz-like feel.

I'll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee”

Today, The Sound is using these iconic words to praise our King. This family band is comprised of Rob Mills and his two sons, Levi and Jacob. Since 2017, they’ve been using their unique sound to lead others in worship.

On their website, The Sound is described as “bold, fresh, excited, and talented. Above all else, they remain faithful to the cause of Christ.”

And they are giving all the glory to God with this beautiful performance of ‘Just A Closer Walk With Thee.’

What a perfect reminder that when we put our trust in the Lord, He leads us on the right path. Place your burdens on His shoulder and let God carry us along the way.

The southern gospel group known as the Crabb Family are originally from Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and they have had sixteen No. 1 songs on the national radio charts. The Crabb Family members include Jason, who is the oldest, twin brothers Adam and Aaron, and sisters Kelly and Terah.
