'Stand Up' Zach Williams Live Performance

Listen to this live performance of the song ‘Stand Up’ by Zach Williams.

“Are you lost and wanna be found, are there shackles on your feet that weigh you down
Are you scared there's no way out, are you sick and tired of falling on the ground
Stand up if you believe in the God of freedom, somebody give Him praise
Stand up if you believe in the name of Jesus, somebody give Him praise”

Zach Williams performed this powerful song live at the 2021 Dove Awards, and everyone in the audience was praising along with him. And many people online shared how much they loved the song as well.

“You sing the real gospel. With the right voice and tremble,” one person comments on YouTube after watching the video. “God blessed you so much, and us, who can listen to your songs. Thank God and thank you.”

“Great song!” another person writes online. “I love your music! It's relatable and affirming. It touches everyone who hears it! Thank God you are out there making this music!”

Zach Williams is a husband, father, and musician who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. According to his website, he has “become one of CCM’s leading artists and songwriters by carving a niche with his singular blend of southern rock, country, and faith-filled songwriting, which quickly awarded him his first Grammy Award with his debut album, 2017’s Chain Breaker.”

When talking about his new album titled Rescue Story, Zach reflects on all the blessings that God has given him. “When I gave my life to the Lord, I realized He never left me, even in the dark times. For this new album, the title fits because every song in it has a rescue story. When you’re at your end of the rope, that’s when your rescue story begins. In my case, Jesus has been my rescue story.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Zach William’s song ‘Stand Up’ today!

'Reckless Love' Gaither Vocal Band Performance

Check out this video of the Gaither Vocal Band performing the popular worship song ‘Reckless Love’ by Cory Asbury.

“Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me, You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me, You have been so, so kind to me
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God"

What a great song and this performance by the Gaither Vocal Band is just wonderful! There is such passion and energy in their voices, and the lyrics that they are singing are so powerful.

“One of my favorite songs! Course when GVB does it up it kicks it up a few notches as well because of their heart and excellence in presentation, harmony, sound, and relevant anointing! They can never get it wrong!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

"Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah”

“I love this. One of the best covers of this song I’ve heard. Stunning job guys. Wow!” writes another person online.

In an interview about the song, Cory Asbury shared a little bit about his writing process when it came to making it.

“I feel like this song is a culmination of the latter half of my life. So much goes into it and a lot of it has to do with my family, my own upbringing with my own dad. I think ‘Reckless Love’ is a song about the Father’s love, and I think so many of us, especially in this generation are so unfamiliar with the Father’s love because we had so many skewed ideas of what He’s like because of what our own dads were like,” he said.

“I know so many people, myself included, who grew up with a dad who wasn’t perfect, to put it lightly. And because my dad wasn’t perfect, I viewed God through the lens of my own dad. And I felt many times that God was angry or upset or disappointed in me. I felt I was always letting Him down.”

Thankfully, God’s love for us is unconditional and His mercy and forgiveness is never-ending. Praise the Lord for the way He cares for us and relentlessly pursues our hearts.

When I see thy Heavens (Psalm 8) - Når jeg ser din himmel

This is one of the pearls from Kjersti H Ørnhaugs production. The earlier music-video of this has been popular, but that was ten years ago, and the image resolution was too low to do it justice now. So a re-make was in order. In addition - I have had more experience at making videos, so the new version has benefited from it.

'I've Never Been This Homesick Before' Redeemed Quartet Performance

The 4 men of the Redeemed Quartet praise the Lord with the beloved words of ‘I’ve Never Been This Homesick Before.’ And as you listen to this classic hymn, you’ll be worshipping His Holy Name and longing to be reunited in Heaven.

“Someone's standing by the open door
I can see a crystal river
I must be near forever
See, I've never been this homesick before”

Josh and Caleb Koble and Ben and Nate Duncan make up the Redeemed Quartet. These two sets of brothers have been friends for years but now they have taken that friendship to a whole new level. This talented quartet uses their God-given voices to sing praises to His Name.

Today, the quartet is reminding us that this world is not our home with the beautiful words of ‘I’ve Never Been This Homesick Before.’

“I can see my Father standing at the door
This world has been a wilderness
I'm ready for deliverance
Lord, I've never been this homesick before”

On YouTube, the group shared the inspiration behind covering this classic hymn. “As followers of Christ, this world and the state it’s in remind us “We’re not Home yet!”

Earth is only our temporary refuge. One day, we will be reunited with our Father in Heaven and what a glorious day that will be, indeed!

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Today, they are dedicating a song to all of the mothers and fathers across the globe with the official music video for ‘Unsung Hero.’

And when we crossed the ocean, you were my safe place to land
Been on a thousand stages but when it's all said and done
I hope I make you proud of, of the man that I've become”

The brothers spoke with Christian Beat about how their parents inspired the song  “It’s hard to put into words what they mean to us, but they are both truly unsung heroes of ours. “Unsung Hero” goes out to every mum and dad, as well as every child who sees a hero in their parents.”

New Gospel Song

Riley Clemmons - For The Good

I recently discovered Riley Clemmons. She has a new single out called "For The Good", based on Romans 8:28. That's one of my life verses, since it reminds us to be thankful in *all* circumstances (which Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18), not just the good circumstances, because God works all things together for good. The song was written by Riley Clemmons and Colby Wedgeworth.

Thy Word is a Lamp unto my Feet

Choralerna's classic song 'Ditt Ord är mine føtters lykta, ja och et ljus på min väg'. There is a translation already that is available, but I was not aware of that in 1979 or whenever it was I first had a go, and it does what it does, which is fine! This is not a translation as such, but the deep message of the song given new clothing. The style is deliberately non-contemporary; first, because the wording has wide associations for millions of people, secondly, because it feels right to me (!) and thirdly because people who bend over backwards to be modern, are the first to end up completely dated: 'Everything today is thoroughly modern! Everything today makes yesterday slow... ...what they're forgetting is: This is 1922!' (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

'Right By Your Side' The Collingsworth Family Performance

Listen to The Collingsworth Family sing the uplifting song ‘Right By Your Side’ in this energetic performance.

“There are times in this life we live, things don t go the way we planned
And I’m tempted to murmur, complain, tell my troubles, heartaches, sorrow, pain.
But then I lift up my eyes and see, there is hope waiting just for me
The very moment I call upon his name Jesus reaches down and takes my hand.”

What a wonderful song that showcases the group’s incredible vocals and harmonies. And on stage with the singers, a piano and full band is playing behind them. There is even a fabulous trumpet solo later in the song.

“Fabulous! My favorite styles/genres together - 40's jazz and gospel Music doesn't get much better than this,” comments one person online after watching the video. “Thank you Collingsworth family - God bless you and yours!”

“Great message for these troubled times. Absolutely beautiful harmony and choice of genre,” another person writes on YouTube. “Couldn't help being uplifted by this great presentation.”

The Collingsworth Family is a Southern Gospel group that was started by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and features their family as the group. In this video, The Collingsworth Family is performing ‘Right By Your Side’ at Liberty University's Center For Music And Worship Arts in  Lynchburg, VA.

The song ‘Right By Your Side’ is a new single for the family group, and it is a powerful song that is sure to uplift your spirit. It is the kind of song that puts a spring in your step and a smile on your face!
