‘Don’t Get Me Started’ Housefires Live Performance

God, because of his love, kindness, protection, mercy and grace, deserves all our praise and worship and even then, that would not be enough.

The song “Don’t Get Me Started” by the Housefires is about the infinite wonder and awesomeness of God. In addition to being a loving and merciful God, His Word states He is always faithful and good.

The song begins by declaring that God’s goodness and faithfulness are so abundant and readily apparent that attempting to explain them would require a massive amount of time.

Instead, the lyrics warn that “don’t even get me started on His faithfulness” and “don’t even get me started on His goodness.” Why? Because as the singer states, they could talk about God’s faithfulness and goodness “all day long.”

Additionally, the song declares that their testimony, which includes examples of God’s goodness and faithfulness, would go on for quite some time. The lyrics state that “even a lifetime would never be enough” to accurately tell their testimony.

The Old Testament book Deuteronomy mentions that the Lord is always with us, regardless of the situation. Deuteronomy 31:8 reads, “And the Lord, he it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

As far as the goodness of God is concerned, there is no one else who could possibly be considered as good. In Luke 18:19, Jesus, in speaking with a rich ruler, stated that not even He is good, but that “none is good, save one, that is, God.”

God is good and faithful, freely giving to and blessing those who call upon His name. This song from the Housefires serves as a terrific reminder of the Lord’s many blessings in our life!

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God, he is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”

‘How Precious Is The Blood’ Cody Carnes Acoustic Performance

Christ made the ultimate sacrifice, dying on the cross for the sins of humanity. We only have a chance at everlasting life because of His bloodshed.

The song “How Precious Is The Blood” by Cody Carnes is about His death and the blood He shed for you and me all those years ago. It’s a song that reminds us that He made the ultimate sacrifice of love. He did it while we were lost in our sin and shame.

The song’s first verse mentions how much Christ truly loves us. He cares for us enough to give us opportunities we could have never brought about ourselves. He invites us to be with Him, "welcomed as a friend," to sit at the table with Him.

The second verse recognizes His massive act of love, which paid a debt of ours we could have never ever paid. Christ stepped in and paid the price!

“As You hung there on a tree
Through the suffering
Through the crushing
That You would think of me”

The chorus reiterates how wonderful, marvelous and extraordinary Christ's blood is because it blots out and covers sins. Those transgressions are never to be remembered again!

If not for the blood of Christ shed for you and me, no one would have had a chance. The entire world would have remained lost and without hope.

But instead, as John 3:16 mentions, God made a way. He sent His son into the world so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life!

What an awesome song about the love and hope that comes with the name and blood of Jesus!

Hebrews 9:14 “How much more will the blood of Christ, who, being without sin, made an offering of himself to God through the Holy Spirit, make your hearts clean from dead works to be servants of the living God?”

‘On The Sea Of Life’ Classic Hymn From The Redeemed Quartet

Our time on earth is temporary, but will run out eventually. Death is something that everyone will experience at some point, as it spares no person. However, we do not have to fear death.

John 3:16 says anyone who “believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” In their rendition of the classic hymn “On the Sea of Life,” The Redeemed Quartet mentions this promise and hope that is available after our time on earth comes to an end.

In the song’s first verse, the four guys sing they are leaving all of earth's trials and tribulations behind. Instead, they have their sights set on their new home. They are “sailing to a better home.” The lyrics state it’s a place where all those saved now reside and that “many pleasures wait us there.”

In the song’s chorus, the lyrics state that it’s only a matter of time until they reach that place of safety and security. They are headed in that direction, “sailing onward, sailing o’er the foam.”

The second verse mentions that millions who accepted Christ live in this new place. However, it also adds that there is no capacity limit on the vessel sailing to this new and wonderful place. There is room still available for anyone who listens to and acts on the captain's words.

“Many millions now abide in that home beyond the tide
Where the ransomed pilgrims wait free from care
There is room on board for all who will heed the captain’s call”

In addition to the tune's wonderful message of hope and a future with Christ in heaven, it is also beautifully performed. The four group members harmonize and blend their voices expertly, making for literal music to the ears.

Psalm 95:5 “The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.”

‘Father Will You Hold My Hand’ We Are Messengers Lyric Video

People have the ability, through poor decisions and wrong thinking, to make a mess of things. With little effort, people can get themselves into horrible situations. Thankfully, there is One who can reverse direction and change the route.

The song “Father Will You Hold My Hand” by We Are Messengers is about a change in direction and attitude. The song's first verse tells of someone who, through their guidance, has created an utter disaster.

However, they recognized their predicament and do want to change course. They cry out to the hold for His help and guidance. They ask the Lord to pull them out of the muck and filth.

“The water’s rising I can’t stand
Oh I lead myself to sinking sand
So Father would you hold my hand”

In the second verse, this person asks the Lord to continue to change their life. The person requests that the Father keep doubt away from their mind, that He protects their soul and that He does not allow any man to bring about any harm.

Next, after making those many asks of the Lord, the chorus is filled with words of praise. This person, whose life has been turned around, is celebrating the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is “through Your power I overcome,” the lyrics add.

The following verses state how the Lord has changed the state of their soul and how they have been made whole. God has performed a life-changing miracle in their life.

God was faithful and merciful. He extended His love and grace to this person and changed their life.

Praise God for His mighty and wonderful work!

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with my right hand of my righteousness.”

‘Surrounded By Holy’ Bethel Music Worship Performance

The Lord is great, magnificent and powerful, capable of more than we could ever know or hope to know. He is worthy of all praise and worship!

The Bible is littered with mentions and examples of the holiness of the Lord. The song “Surrounded By Holy” from Bethel Music is about the goodness, awe-inspiring power and holiness of God.

In the song’s first verse, the musicians ask to be in the place where “saints and angels bow before You.” From the lyrics, it is clear the musicians are constantly amazed by God's greatness and holiness. In the second verse, the musicians mention that simply being in God’s presence is a feeling unlike any other.

The song’s simple but beautifully written chorus informs listeners about the wonder, awe and amazement of God. There is none like Him, for no one is more worthy of our praise and adoration!

“Holy, surrounded by holy
There’s no one more holy
I’m in wonder and awe”

A verse in the latter stages reinforces this idea of the holiness of God. The Lord is so full of love, mercy and grace that all the musicians can do is cry out, “holy, holy.”

What better location to sing about the wonder, power and holiness of God than surrounded by His beautiful creation? The musicians play in a picturesque forest with massive trees all around. Intricately placed lights help to provide a look and a feel that goes along perfectly with the song's lyrics.

God is holy and worthy of all praise and worship! His holiness, power and love are so much more immense and encompassing than we will ever know. Praise God for His mercy and grace!

Leviticus 20:26 “And you shall be holy to me: for I the Lord and holy, and have severed you from other people, that you should be mine.”
