‘We Are One’ Jesus Revolution Lyric Video With Michael W. Smith

It’s been said that people may doubt your words, but they are much less likely to question your actions. One song works from this idea of actions speaking louder than words and applies it to Christians.

Michael W. Smith’s song “We Are One” gets to the heart of what it means to be a Christian. Christianity is about spreading His message and showing Christ’s love to those around us. The lyric video for the song, posted on YouTube, features several scenes from the new film “Jesus Revolution.”

As the song mentions, that mission works much better when Christians work together and don’t allow differences to keep them apart. When there is unity between Christians and “they walk hand in hand,” the world will be more receptive to the message. The song mentions they will see the love present.

“And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love”

That makes sense, right? Want people to know and understand the message of Christ? The best way is to live life in a way that shows others how Christ has changed your life. They will see the difference in you and be intrigued.

Throughout God’s Word, Christians are called upon to exhibit love for one another. In the New Testament, Jesus provided examples of how we are to love and care for one another.

The film “Jesus Revolution” opened in theaters in late February. Kelsey Grammer stars in the movie. It’s rated PG-13 for strong drug content involving teens and some thematic elements, according to IMDB.

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Be certain, then, that the Lord your God is God; whose faith and mercy are unchanging, who keeps his word through a thousand generations to those who have love for him and keep his laws.”

‘Bird’s Eye View’ - Matthew Parker Jacob Stanifer Lyric Video

How someone views the world impacts how they react to others and situations.

No matter our point of view or perspective, it is limited. Most people go through life with blinders on, only able to see what is going on in front of them and never getting the entire picture. Matthew Parker and Jacob Stanifer’s song “Bird’s Eye View” is about seeing things differently, asking for a new perspective and another point of view.

In the song's first verse, the singer realizes that he's blinded to things beyond his world and personal experience. He claims that he’s been “so nearsighted” and that there has been “so much that I can’t see.”

To remedy the situation, the singer asks for a different point of view to see things clearer. He is hoping for another way of looking at circumstances to bring much-needed clarity.

The singer, in the song's chorus, makes another, more direct plea. He wants the opportunity to see the bigger picture. He wants the chance to see from a “bird’s eye view,” where he can see everything happening.

“I just want to go where
I can see the world so clear
Tell me everything I’m missing”

The lyrics to the song’s second verse point out that life’s storms can and do cause people to lose focus and forget what matters. Specifically, it states that the hailstorm he’s in has made him forget why he’s fighting.

What an interesting thought and request from the musicians!

How might we react differently to others and situations if we could see the bigger picture? Most people are so concerned with their present situation that they don’t stop to think about what they may be missing by not seeing the whole picture. Thankfully, God does have a “bird’s eye view” and can see everything clearly.

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

‘Chasing Rebels’ – Ben Fuller Official Music Video

People can and often do make a complete mess of their lives. Thankfully, God is full of love, mercy and grace, willing and able to meet us at our absolute lowest.

Through poor decisions and faulty thinking, people can end up in places they never ever imagined they’d be. Sin has a way of leading people astray. But God, like Ben Fuller’s song “Chasing Rebels” states, has a habit of reaching even the worst, most destructive and obstinate sinner.

The opening verses of Ben’s song mention all the horrible places he’s been and how he is ashamed of his past choices and mistakes. He also sings he was “nearly buried in a box of my own sin.”

But praise God, that is not the end of the story!

There is, the song points out, “an unrelenting” Savior coming who “loves chasing down rebels.”

The song also reiterates that no one is too far gone from God and his powerful love and grace.

“When it comes to shame, you’re not alone
From prodigals on barstools to pretenders in the church pews
Nobody’s ever really too far gone”

To help reinforce the song’s message of God “chasing rebels” and those who have rejected God, the video shows a man in prison who continually refuses the Lord. The man is handed a Bible by his fellow inmates on several occasions and he tosses God's Word to the side every time.

But as the video shows, God is not done with him!

One day, out in the prison yard, the man breaks down and finally accepts God’s love. There is an immediate change in his personality and demeanor. He begins reading the Bible and makes up with his family.

What a beautiful song about God’s miraculous love and grace!

Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s obedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

‘Top of the World’ – Branan Murphy, Canon, JuiceBangers (Official Music Video)

God has a purpose for our lives, but temptations, impulses and other distractions can keep us from fulfilling that calling.

The song “Top of the World” by Branan Murphy, Canon and JuiceBangers is about reaching the peak while avoiding pitfalls that would only lead to downfall and destruction. Instead of getting distracted, the musicians are focused on and will keep working toward their goals.

In the song’s third verse, the musicians warn about the people you take advice from because some individuals do not have the best intentions. They could have hidden agendas, looking to hurt you in one way or another.

The musicians also provide a reminder about keeping the body and mind clean. “Be cautious on who you might listen to. I tell ‘em my body’s a temple,” the lyrics state. God’s Word, in 1 Corinthians 6:19, informs readers that their “body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you.”

Finally, the song concludes with the two musicians rapping that they have come way too far in life to throw it all away for momentary distractions. God has been good to them.

In addition to the positive message in the lyrics, the song is beyond catchy, especially the chorus.

Several others commented on the video on YouTube about how much they enjoyed the tune.

“Whoa straight fire, the lyrics, video quality, the concept and the beat/production is on another level! Branan your vocals are blessed by God, this vid deserves more views and comments!” one person wrote.

“This song is so good!!! And I love your voice so much, I hope you never stop singing!” a second person posted.

1 Corinthians 10:13 “You have been put to no test, but such as is common to man: and God is true, who will not let any test come on you which you are not able to undergo; but he will make with the test a way out of it, so that you may be able to go through it.”

‘Thank You’ – Pastor Mike Jr. (Official Music Video)

God’s Word instructs us to bring our requests to Him. James 4:2 mentions that “you have not, because you ask not.” However, thanking and praising God for His work and what He has done is also mentioned throughout the Bible.

The song “Thank You” by Pastor Mike Jr. is an excellent reminder to remain thankful and praise God for all the good in your life.

In the song, the singer acknowledges the Lord has provided him with food, clothes and friends. He is grateful for all the Lord has given him.

Pastor Mike Jr. also states that even if he does not get other items he hopes to obtain, he will remain thankful for the Lord’s work in his life. Pastor Mike Jr. mentions that God has removed all the pain and shame from his life!

Most people are abundantly blessed. Food, water, clothing and shelter are not a concern for most of the population. Thankfully these necessities are met for a lot of people.

However, others are not as lucky. They may have to skip a meal or two. Where they are going to sleep that night may be in question. Making next month’s rent may be nearly impossible.

Everything in life may not be perfect, but we ought to maintain a heart of thankfulness and a spirit of gratitude for all the Lord has done. Yes, the Lord wants to hear the requests weighing on our minds and hearts. However, it is also necessary to acknowledge and remember from whom our many blessings come.

Pastor Mike Jones Jr.’s “Thank You” is a short and sweet song about being thankful for all that God has done in our life.

Psalm 147:7 “Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp to our God.”

‘Touch of Heaven’ – Hannah Hobbs

From our wants and desires come our decisions, choices and ultimately, the kind and type of life we lead. Everything we do or say stems from our wants or desire for something.

In the song ‘Touch of Heaven’ Hannah Hobbs sings about her desire to grow in her personal relationship with God. She articulates how she longs for the moments when she’s in His presence. She asks the Lord to speak to her and tell her what He wants from her life.

With such a massive step of faith comes the fear of the unknown, but that will not stop her. She wants to know more about Him so much that she is willing to throw all fear aside because she is seeking a “touch of heaven.”

Hannah, in the song, states that her only desire and intention is to become closer to God. She is willing to give all she has to Him.

“All I want is to live within Your love
Be undone by who You are
My desire is to know You deeper”

Also, Hannah sings that she is 100 percent committed to the Lord. She is ready to do whatever He may ask of her, stating that “there is no hesitation” on her part.

Near the end of the song, Hannah makes a request to God. She asks Him to “do only what You can” and tells Christ to “have your way in me now.”

What a beautiful song about the complete and total surrender to God and his will and purpose for our lives!

‘Holy Fire’ Acoustic Song by Bayside Worship

Christ is deserving of all glory, honor and praise. He died upon the cross, giving himself up as the ultimate sacrifice for all the sins of humanity.

The song “Holy Fire” by Bayside Worship is all about lavishing much-deserved praise on the name of Jesus. The song also instructs listeners to worship Jesus and His holy name for all He has done for you and I. The opening verse mentions how the songwriter has come before the Lord, bowing to show honor and praise.

The song’s chorus states how the name of Jesus is the highest, most praise-worthy moniker in all the land. The lyrics also mention that there is nothing like feeling His presence in a room.

“Jesus, how great is Your name in all the earth
Jesus, nothing is better than
When You walk into the room”

Without Christ’s sacrifice, love and grace, there would be no hope for anyone. Humanity would all be lost. Instead, John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The beautiful melody and lyrics are wonderful reminders of how we are to approach Him with reverent worship and praise. He is worthy of all our praise!

Many people responded positively to the video for the song on YouTube, commenting on the song’s message and sound.

“This is a beautiful melody,” one person posted.

“Wow this is such a beautiful song like a personal love letter written to HIM; Elohim Our One and Only True Living GOD. Your voices are so beautifully blended along with the dynamics of all the instruments!!!” someone else wrote.

‘Impossible’ – Pastor Mike Jr. (Official Music Video)

Life can throw some overwhelming situations and circumstances our way, making the odds appear to be stacked heavily against us. However, there is One who has a habit of performing miracles, of making the impossible possible.

The song “Impossible” from Pastor Mike Jr. is about the awe-inspiring ability of God to step in and make a way. God can take a situation in which everyone sees no hope and no chance and make it so that there is an immense victory!

As the lyrics in the song state, there are instances when our faith will be tested, doubt will begin to creep in and questions will pop into our heads. Those are the times when a positive outcome looks impossible, and we must call out to God for help and guidance. He is able.

The song states that God, during a seemingly impossible situation, will come in and act as a shield of protection and call upon the storm to be still. Their testimony, the musicians point out, is that God did the impossible.

Specifically, the musician sings about a stressful and uncertain episode with his mother. He sang about the miracle of healing God performed for his family.

“When my mother was sick, and the doctors said
They didn’t know what to do
God, you stepped in”

Not only is God capable of doing what is thought to be impossible, but God’s Word informs us that he can do even more than anything our minds could come up with. Ephesians 3:20, reads, “Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

Praise God for he still performs miracles today!

Matthew 19:26 “And Jesus, looking at them, said, ‘With men, this is not possible; but with God all things are possible.”

“Heart of Praise” - Katy Nichole

Lift your spirits and lighten your burdens with this performance of “Heart of Praise” by Katy Nichole!

If you don’t already know 22-year-old Katy Nichole Litwiller, you may soon learn much more about this talented singer, songwriter, musician, and worship leader from Tremont, Illinois.

Since recording this video in 2021, Katy has been busy making Christian music, receiving a GMA Dove Award nomination in 2022 for her debut hit “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” and recording “God Is in This Story” with Big Daddy Weave!

Katy’s star is on the rise! However, this young lady has experienced hard times, suffering from congenital scoliosis and severe depression associated with her physical challenges and pain. She shares her story on FaceBook and gives all the glory to God for the healing he’s provided.

In this performance, Katy, along with musicians on piano, guitar, and cajón, declares her desire and intent to praise Him faithfully through all of the trials that life brings. The first four lines of the chorus are as follows:

I will lift hands to the heavens
And sing of the amazing grace
Through the broken things and the blessings
I am Yours always

The song is a wonderful reminder that it is through a relationship with Jesus that we are able to make it through all of the difficult times in life. Katy shared that sentiment on her Centricity Music website

She recalled that when she was in a deep depression and nearly took a bottle of pills to end her life, she heard God’s voice. She said, “But I remember picking it up, and I heard the voice of God say, ‘Hold on. I’m not done yet.’ Every time I would hit that low point, I would hear that same voice.”

The performance is beautiful, but it is the words of the song and the passion with which Katy sings that is perhaps most moving. She appears to be a young lady who is wise beyond her years and spiritually mature. She knows that whether she faces good times or bad, she’ll always be in good hands if she’s walking hand-in-hand with Him!

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalms 150:6

‘Broken Into Beautiful’ – Hannah Hobbs

People through their poor decisions and wrongheaded thinking, have a knack for making a complete mess of things. Thankfully, there is One who can turn the ugly, destructive parts of our lives into something beautiful.

The song “Broken Into Beautiful” by Hannah Hobbs tells of God’s ability to take seemingly hopeless situations and bring about wonderful, incredible and awe-inspiring things. Because of his mercy, goodness and love, He can do much more than we could ever imagine.

In the first verse, Hannah sings that the Lord is restoring ruins and rebuilding a holy nation. In the very next verse, she mentions that the Lord is still rescuing people who have become lost. He is also restoring and mending the broken, Hannah sings.

Later in the song, Hannah sings of the Lord’s ability to make beauty where there were once ashes. As the tune mentions, He has brought healing to those in need of His touch.

“You’re bringing healing
And a new anointing
For Your great Name”

Praise God for his wonderful and ongoing work!

There are plenty of people in our world today who need to be restored and know the healing touch of the Lord. Broken and lost people make up the world. But they don’t have to remain in their sin and shame. The Lord has made a way!

He is ever merciful, willing to restore those who would humble themselves and ask Him for forgiveness and healing. The lyrics state that His mercy flows like a river for all.

What a great and wonderful God who can put together and fix what we have so epically broken and destroyed. He is worthy of all praise!

1 Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

‘Proud’ – Ben Fuller (Official Music Video)

Relationships can be difficult and complex. They sometimes result in hurt feelings and estrangement. One powerful and personal song is about the strained relationship between a father and a son.

In Ben Fuller’s song “Proud,” the musician mentions he had a tough, heartbreaking time with his dad growing up. However, through the hurt, he turned to and found his heavenly Father. Ben sings he was then able to fix things between him and his dad.

The song’s first verse states how Ben’s relationship with his father was less than ideal. He admits there was no physical abuse. But his dad, through hurtful words, inflicted emotional pain. The most heartbreaking and gut-wrenching line mentions that Ben wasn’t sure if his dad loved him as a child.

But despite the hurt, Ben sings that he eventually learned whose son he really is and how it’s about making Him proud.

“Ain’t about the man, that I call dad
Who I could never figure out
It’s about knowin’ whose son I really am”

However, God didn’t stop there!

Later in the song, Ben sings that after finding God things between him and his dad become better. They repaired things and have “finally settled old scores.”

Others commented on the video posted to YouTube, stating how much Ben’s song about his troubled relationship with his dad meant to them.

“Man. How this song hits home. Growing up was a spot on to this, never once hit me but was very harsh with words. I could never figure out how to be good enough for him so I had to take matters into my own hands. I thank God every day for giving me the opportunities to get me where I am today. Everything I do is for him,” one person wrote.

“Brother, you have no idea how relevant this song is for me right now. Thank you,” a second person added.

Ephesians 6:4 “And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
