‘Proud’ – Ben Fuller (Official Music Video)

Relationships can be difficult and complex. They sometimes result in hurt feelings and estrangement. One powerful and personal song is about the strained relationship between a father and a son.

In Ben Fuller’s song “Proud,” the musician mentions he had a tough, heartbreaking time with his dad growing up. However, through the hurt, he turned to and found his heavenly Father. Ben sings he was then able to fix things between him and his dad.

The song’s first verse states how Ben’s relationship with his father was less than ideal. He admits there was no physical abuse. But his dad, through hurtful words, inflicted emotional pain. The most heartbreaking and gut-wrenching line mentions that Ben wasn’t sure if his dad loved him as a child.

But despite the hurt, Ben sings that he eventually learned whose son he really is and how it’s about making Him proud.

“Ain’t about the man, that I call dad
Who I could never figure out
It’s about knowin’ whose son I really am”

However, God didn’t stop there!

Later in the song, Ben sings that after finding God things between him and his dad become better. They repaired things and have “finally settled old scores.”

Others commented on the video posted to YouTube, stating how much Ben’s song about his troubled relationship with his dad meant to them.

“Man. How this song hits home. Growing up was a spot on to this, never once hit me but was very harsh with words. I could never figure out how to be good enough for him so I had to take matters into my own hands. I thank God every day for giving me the opportunities to get me where I am today. Everything I do is for him,” one person wrote.

“Brother, you have no idea how relevant this song is for me right now. Thank you,” a second person added.

Ephesians 6:4 “And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”

‘This is How I Thank the Lord’ – Mosaic MSC (Live Video)

The Lord has done much for us all. He is worthy of all honor, glory and praise.

Christ gave up himself as the ultimate and perfect sacrifice. He died upon the cross for you and me. As John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Christ’s death on the cross was the highest act of love. He paid a debt that we have no way of repaying. For this selfless act that has changed and is still changing lives today, Christ deserves all our praise and worship!

The song “This Is How I Thank the Lord” by Mosaic MSC makes this need to praise Christ for his love, mercy and grace abundantly clear. He deserves everything we have and even then, it would never be adequate.

In the song’s first verse, the singers mention that there is not enough time in the world to even begin to understand the greatness and the worth of Christ. Words have not been created that could appropriately describe the magnificence of the Lord.

The song mentions that the Lord, after He saved us, does not remember our past sins. Praise the Lord for He is good!

“All of my deceptions
All of my duplicity
Now there is no record”

The Lord, because of his mercy and grace, saved us while we were still in our sinful and weakened state. It is for this reason that the musicians state they are going to thank and praise the Lord. They offer their gift of praise with everything they have and with all they are.

Listen to this beautiful song about the need to praise and thank the Lord for all He has done in our lives!

Psalm 106:1 “Let the Lord be praised. Oh give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging forever.”

‘Windows’ – Pastor Mike Jr. (Official Music Video)

Life can present what appear to be insurmountable problems and situations at times. Thankfully, God can overcome any and everything we may encounter in this life!

In Pastor Mike Jr.’s song “Windows,” he sings about the blessings of God and how he can overcome anything weighing on our hearts and minds. In fact, the Lord has the situation in His hands and there is no need to worry.

“I thank the Lord, it’s a new day
I ain’t worried, he got it
Tell the devil, get behind me”

Instead of letting worry and despair keep him down, Pastor Mike Jr. believes the Lord has plenty of good things in store for his life. In fact, he sings about making room for all the Lord’s blessings. He is going to “open up a window” in order to let the “blessings fall on through.”

Pastor Mike Jr. sings the Lord has been so good to Him he cannot contain himself. The goodness of God causes him to move his feet in joy, the song states.

Later in the song, Pastor Mike Jr. states that anyone going through hardship should act and dance as if they already have the blessing from God. He also advises people to make room because the blessings of the Lord will be big!

What a positive and upbeat message about the goodness of God! He does have blessings in store for those who love, worship and praise Him.

In addition to the song's message about the impending blessings of the Lord, the video is a feast for the eyes. The bright blue and purple hues of the lights match the tune’s upbeat and energetic melody. Also, all the performers on stage have a great time singing about the goodness of God. It is a clip of pure joy!

Deuteronomy 28:2 “And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall listen to the voice of the Lord your God.”

‘Give Thanks, Thank You Jesus’ Hannah Hobbs

Christ offered himself up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. He died on the cross and later rose from the grave so that those who believe in him may have an everlasting life!

“Give Thanks, Thank You Jesus” is a song from Hannah Hobbs praising the Lord for being that sacrifice and taking our sin and shame upon Himself. It was our debt He paid. For this, He deserves our unending praise and worship.

In the song’s first verse, Hannah mentions that it is with humbleness and a grateful heart that we offer our thanks for the “blood of the Lamb who was slain.” It is only through the grace of God that we have been redeemed and made new.

The song’s chorus makes it clear that the love Christ demonstrated by dying on the cross was not simply a one-off thing. Christ’s love for all humanity still exists and will continue to do so.

“His love endures forever
Give thanks to the Lord our God
His Love endures”

Praise God!

The song’s second verse mentions another enduring aspect of Christ: His faithfulness. His love, grace and mercy continue. But He will also remain by our side whenever life gets confusing and unbearable. In fact, He will deliver us and never forsake us, Hannah sings.

God sent his son into the world to die a horrible and painful death on the cross. The love, grace, mercy and faithfulness of Christ are boundless. They are also nothing any of us deserve.

Be sure and listen to Hannah’s song about Christ’s love, mercy, grace and faithfulness!

Psalms 106:1-2 “Let the Lord be praised. Oh give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging forever. Who is able to give an account of the great acts of the Lord, or to make clear all his praise?”

'Good Lord' - Lecrae, Andy Mineo (Official Video)

‘Good Lord’ performed by Lecrae and Andy Mineo will have you grooving, dancing, and singing, Good Lord!”

The official music video is directed by Nathan Corrona, with additional creative input by its co-stars Lecrae and Andy Mineo. The pair had so much fun creating a low-budget comedy film, and during the creative process, several songs like “Good Lord” are leaving fans asking for more.

Even when I'm down bad
Yeah, I know how to bounce back
'Cause you know I got a good Lord

Christian music fans will no doubt recognize Lecrae, the Grammy-winning Christian artist who describes himself as ‘a kid raised in hip hop culture who came to know Jesus.’ Lecrae strives to “represent faith and Hip-Hop with an Unashamed edge that challenges the Church to live up to its potential and encourages the Culture to reconcile with its Savior.”

Both Lecrae and Andy Mineo star in the video as two inexperienced filmmakers who are determined to produce a great movie, but they are laughed out of every Hollywood studio. The pair decide to do it themselves despite having no budget and low-quality film equipment. The music video chronicles their adventures, and they “accidentally” create a fantastic music video.

I don’t know what I love more, the beat of the music, the clothes, the hair, or the different clips in the music video. Either way, it’s been added to my work commute playlist. The song puts a groove in my step and reminds me no matter what comes my way, I can say, “Good Lord!” Other viewers who have watched the video feel the same way.

One viewer noted, “Andy Mineo and Lecrae need to do more acting and comedy skits. They've got a talent for it especially together.” I agree, the pair have great chemistry. Another viewer felt encouraged. She added, “These two men of God are absolutely nuts! I needed this video today. Thank you, gentleman, for being yourselves as you love God and follow Christ Jesus. Don't ever stop.”

People are wanting more. Another viewer commented, “This has to be one of the best/most creative songs/videos I've seen in a while!! Everything fits so well! Like, if I was to visualize what I thought the video would be while listening to the song, this would be exactly what I pictured!”

I think Andy and Lecrae are tapping into what people want! I hope this humorous music video and song puts a groove in your step and lifts your spirit!

'Breathe / We Fall Down' - Brooke Ligertwood David Funk

‘Breathe / We Fall Down’ performed by Brooke Ligertwood and David Funk is absolutely powerful and full of God’s goodness.

It was performed during the Seven Tour across the United States. Brooke, David Funk, and the Seven band performed all across the country in order to give individuals a chance to experience the power and presence of God in a night of worship.

If you weren’t able to attend, this is your chance to watch and listen to their performance thanks to the ‘Worship Together’ channel on YouTube. The video has gone viral with over 141,068 views, blessing each and every viewer.

Garnering hundreds of comments, it’s reaching lost souls. One viewer who said he wasn’t religious was blessed by the music video. He wrote, “Not a religious person, but this popped into my recommended. Tried reading along with the lyrics, but couldn't see the last half, because of the tears that filled my eyes! Incredible!” Praise the lord! We hope this performance blesses your heart too.

In this video for the song, the singers begin with the lyrics to ‘Breathe,’ leading us into a moment of reflecting how God is the air we breathe, he is our daily bread, and how we are lost without his loving presence in our lives.

The next part of the worship song is an incredible crossover to the worship song ‘We Fall Down’, which depicts how one day we will lay down our crowns at Christ’s feet. How, one day, we will worship in the presence of God at his heavenly throne, surrounded by other brothers and sisters in Christ. One day, we too will praise, ‘Holy, Holy, Holy is the lamb.’

This video is simple, incredible, and beautifully shot. The powerful lyrics of these two worship songs help us take the focus off of ourselves and put the focus on Christ. Give this song a listen and add it to your playlist. It will remind you of God’s power, presence, peace, and love in your life.

“Day and night they never stop saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come,” Revelations 4:8.

'The Dove' - The Belonging Co (Feat Kari Jobe)

You don’t want to miss this beautiful performance of ‘The Dove’ from The Belonging Co. Feating Kari Jobe.

This performance was recorded live at The Belonging Co in 2022, which was formed to meet the spiritual needs of people in Texas. Through Kari’s elegant and powerful voice, this beautiful song tells the story of the Holy Spirit throughout stories in the Bible.

The symbol of the dove is used as imagery to depict the Holy Spirit. It’s eye-opening to listen to the lyrics while being ushered into God’s presence.

God was there at the beginning, His Spirit brooding like a dove. Spoke the earth into existence and formed creation that He loved. Man was born of the perfect image, made to be a friend of God.

Meant to dwell within His presence, yeah, it's where we all belong.

The words are incredibly intimate, truth-telling, and powerful. It reminds us how Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our guide, our comforter, and our helper in our journey of glorifying God in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit came to help us know Christ through salvation and to give us the power to live in the abundance of God which Jesus promised to all who follow him.

Kari Jobe is the perfect musician and worship leader to perform ‘The Dove.’ For the last two decades, she’s been using her gift of music to lead people to Jesus. Kari loved music as a little girl. At the age of 13 when she felt God’s call to become a musician, she had no idea she would grow up to be one of the leading women in Christian Music.

Kari’s performance is incredible. May this music video usher you into the presence of Jesus and bless your day. May we thank God for giving us the Holy Spirit as our counselor and guide.

“The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you,” John 14:26.

'Above All Else' - Ocean the Ghost Music Video

Above All Else by Ocean and the Ghost music video is absolutely incredible.

The sound ushers your heart into God’s presence. It’s definitely worthy of being added to your Spotify playlist. Set in an intimate and simple setting, David Porcheddu strums his guitar and sings as if it’s a whispered prayer to God. David is a part of the Ocean and the Ghost band. Prior to forming this group, he was a singer/songwriter from the great state of Texas.

Jesus, give me yourself. Jesus, my passion in life is to know You
May all other goals bow down to This journey of loving You more
Jesus, You've showered Your goodness on me

These simple words are powerful and reveal how our hearts yearn to know Jesus on a deeper level. David’s music reminds me of how we are created for worship. The gift of music strips away the world until there’s nothing but ourselves, our longing to be with God, and our gratitude to our heavenly father.

It reminds me of the story in 2 Kings 3:14-15 when Elisha asked three kings to bring him a musician after the kings came to Elisha asking for God’s guidance and help. When Elisha sought after God’s wisdom, he knew he wanted to be more sensitive to God’s leading and knew worship would help him sense the holy spirit.

May this beautiful rendition of ‘Above All Else’ prepare your hearts to the leading of the holy spirit and usher you into God’s goodness and guidance today.

“And Elisha said, “As the LORD of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him,” 2 Kings 3:14-15.

‘Beauty’ – Bethel Music, David Funk

Jesus was nailed to a cross and killed, a perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. He later rose from the grave, winning victory over sin and death. It was the ultimate act of love.

The song “Beauty” by David Funk and Bethel Music reminds us of Christ’s sacrifice, love and beauty.

In John 14:6, Jesus refers to himself as “the way, the truth and the life.” Similarly, the song’s first two verses inform listeners of everything that Christ is to us, calling him “the Word,” “the Life,” as well as “the Man of grace and truth.”

The second verse mentions that because of Christ’s act of love and sacrifice – his death on the cross – that through this sacrifice, this “image of the Father’s outstretched hand,” the face of God has been revealed to all of humanity.

In the third verse, because of Christ’s selfless act of love and His immense beauty, He is worthy of continual love and praise. The song adds that the angles and everyone on earth should bow down before Him.

“Angels cry out this unending song
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
We all bow down in wonder and awe”

How can anyone adequately praise and thank the Lord for what He did by taking our sins upon Himself on the cross all those years ago? The truth is, we can’t do enough. Nothing we ever say or do will ever repay Him for the debt He paid. The only thing we can do is to constantly praise and thank Him and live our lives in a way that would honor and please Him.

This song is an excellent reminder of the beauty and the love of Christ!

Psalms 27:4 “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.”

'If The Lord Builds The House' - Hope Darst

Listen to this song titled ‘If The Lord Builds The House’ by Hope Darst and be encouraged by these powerful lyrics today!

“I’ve built up my own name, but the walls couldn’t stand, I’ve trusted my own strength
But it was sinking sand, so I put my ruins into Your hands, and watch You restore them
Like only You can, cause if the Lord builds the house, nobody can tear it down
If the Lord builds the house, nobody can tear it down, when it’s built on His name
There’s nothing gonna shake this ground, if the Lord builds the house, nobody can tear it down”

In the music video, Hope Darst is getting ready at the start of the day with her daughters. Then she goes into her family’s living room and spends some time in the Word first thing in the morning before leaving the house.

Hope Darst shares the story behind ‘If The Lord Builds The House’ and why the song is so important to her.

“I know that every time I’m singing these words, I’m declaring something that I’m putting into both my spirit and into the atmosphere. When my God builds something, nothing can tear it down,” she says. “I can’t tear this thing down, the enemy can’t tear this thing down. If I’m building my life on a firm foundation, no matter what I face, God will stand firm, and He will hold me in the midst of that.“

The beautiful truth that this song conveys is one that we must hold on tight to. If we build our lives on Jesus, nothing can destroy what is built. He is our rock and firm foundation. Storms will come in this life, but the Lord holds us steady through it all.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this wonderful song by Hope Darst today!

Sailboat - Matthew Parker (Official Music Video)

Are you in search of adding an uplifting song to your playlist? Sailboat by Matthew Parker is an uplifting song that will help you sail through life’s storms. The official music video is absolutely beautiful too. The sailboat Matthew sings about is a reference to our heavenly father and how he guides, protects, and comforts us through the battles we face.

She been feeling the weight of the world. She been feeling like a lonely girl.
Her dreams are broken, heart is frozen.
She opens her eyes and sees the horizon, and says Sailboat,
take me somewhere that I wanna go I wanna go.

The powerful lyrics speak to the depths of the turmoil in our hearts and the knowledge Jesus is fighting our battles with us. The song was released in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, and it was perfect timing.

The world was in lockdown, and we all struggled with isolation from friends and family. Yet, the song speaks to the troubles we face in our daily lives. Matthew partnered with Anya Gerber, and the video features acting from Sidney Seiber. The music video is set on the beach with Anya painting a sailboat and that painting becomes her freedom.

Matthew grew up in Michigan and took piano lessons as a kid. He hated practice until he began creating his own melodies. By the age of 12, he was creating his own music tracks and discovered a passion for music. Since then, he’s had over 50 million streams of music on the web.

His music speaks to the struggles and triumphs of humanity. He says, “Life is an adventure and music should be too.” May this song bless your heart and uplift you today.

“Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “‘Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:29-30

‘Who I Am’ Ben Full Official Music Video

Too many people in society today are concerned with money, possessions and fame. Individuals are under this false impression that if they have a great deal of money, own a substantial number of things and are known by plenty of people, they have achieved something meaningful in life.

This errant focus on the temporal is a terrific recipe for unhappiness. No amount of money and possessions will ever be enough. There will always be a hunger for more, more and more.

Instead, like Ben Fuller’s song, “Who I Am,” the only thing that truly matters is who we are in the eyes of the Father and if we are called a child of God.

Ben’s song begins with someone who has momentarily shifted their focus from what matters. After looking in the mirror, the songwriter does not like the person looking back at them.

The songwriter quickly regains the correct focus. They are a child of God and have been set free. Yes, they belong to the Lord!

Despite all that has been or may happen in the world, the songwriter also re-ups his commitment to follow and serve the Lord.

“Everything has been changing, You haven’t left a stone unturned
Anything I’ve been facing, I’ll keep standing on Your word”

“Who I Am” also makes mention of the enormous price Christ paid for us with his death on the cross.

“You gave up everything, for me to have everything”

Everything in this world is temporary. At the end of life, it will not matter how big our bank account or how many cars or houses were owned. The only thing that will matter is whether we were and are called a child of God.

1 John 3:1 “Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.”
