'No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus' The Collingsworth Family

Check out this wonderful performance by The Collingsworth Family of the hymn ‘No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus.'

“I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus, since I found in Him a friend so strong and true;
I would tell you how He changed my life completely, He did something that
No other friend could do. No one ever cared for me like Jesus,
There's no other friend so kind as He; no one else could take the sin
And darkness from me, o how much He cared for me.”

What a lovely instrumental version of this beautiful hymn! The piano and violins sound so amazing together, and the music just warms your heart.

This music video from The Collingsworth Family was filmed in 2021 at the Liberty University's Center for Music and Worship Arts in Lynchburg VA. Many people online shared their thoughts about the performance.

“This was absolutely beautiful,” one person writes on YouTube after watching the video. “I sang along with you. One of the most beautiful songs ever written.”

“One of the most beautiful hymns that does not fail to comfort me,” comments another person online.

The text and music for ‘No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus' was written by Charles Frederick Weigle. He was born on November 20, 1871 in Lafayette, IN. Charles Weigle was an inspiring preacher and gifted songwriter, and he had produced hundreds of songs and edited several hymn books during his lifetime. But the words from ‘No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus,’ which came from a heart that had been broken, are probably his best known and have been a comfort to many.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus’ by The Collingsworth Family today!

1 Peter 5:6-7
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

'Behold' Phil Wickham And Anne Wilson Worship Duet

Phil Wickham and Anne Wilson glorify God’s Name with the inspiring words of ‘Behold.’ Just listen as they remind us of the gift that keeps giving, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

“Go and see that empty tomb
He’s not there for He is risen
Every heart prepare Him room
Jesus Christ the King of Heaven”

Contemporary Christian artist Phil Wickham has been a staple in the Christian music world for decades. Over the years, this singer-songwriter has given us hits such as ‘This Is Amazing Grace’ and ‘Living Hope.’ He is a GMA Dove-winner and continues to use his God-given talent to praise His Holy Name.

Today, he’s sharing the stage with rising star Anne Wilson as they belt out the words to ‘Behold.’ This song, and more, will be featured on Phil’s Christmas album of the same name. And while this may be a holiday tune, the words are relevant all year long.

“O come let us adore Him
Come let us adore Him
For He alone is worthy
Christ the Lord”

On Instagram, Phil shared a special message about the song. “This is a Christmas song, but even more than that it’s a worship song. We pray it lifts eyes to Jesus and moves hearts to worship the King who came to rescue us.”

What a beautiful reminder of God’s never ending love!

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin.”

Southern Raised Bluegrass Performs 'Forever And Ever, Amen'

Sing along as Southern Raised Bluegrass puts their own spin on the Randy Travis hit, ‘Forever And Ever, Amen.’

This country classic was made famous by Randy in 1987 and still remains one of his signature songs to this day.

“Oh, baby, I'm gonna love you forever
Forever and ever, amen
As long as old men sit and talk about the weather
As long as old women sit and talk about old men”

Siblings Lindsay, Emily and Matt plus their friend Alex, make up the Southern Raised Bluegrass band. The group was raised in the Ozark Mountains and they have blended their traditional music upbringing with multiple genres and their deep-rooted faith. For years, they’ve entertained us with popular covers of songs such as ‘What A Day That Will Be’ and ‘Shenandoah.’

The group describes themselves as creating a ‘Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets bluegrass and city streets meets country roads. SR has morphed a progressive sound that spans Christian Country/ Bluegrass, Celtic and Classical.’

Today, they’re performing their own, unique rendition of ‘Forever And Ever, Amen.’

“If you wonder how long I'll be faithful
I'll be happy to tell you again
I'm gonna love you forever and ever
Forever and ever, amen”

What a perfect song for this bluegrass ensemble. Who else wants to hear more like this?

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.”

The Wagler Sisters Perform Acoustic Rendition Of 'High Cotton'

Listen to this wonderful acoustic rendition from The Wagler Sisters of the song ‘High Cotton.’

“We didn't know the times were lean, round our house the grass was green,
It didn't seem like things were all that bad, I bet we walked a thousand miles,
Choppin' cotton and pusing plows, and learnin' how to give it all we had.
As Life went on and years went by, I saw the light in daddy's eye,
And felt the love in mamma's hands, they kept us warm and kept us fed,
Taught us how to look ahead, now lookin' back I understand.”

What an amazing performance! All of the voices of the Wagler sisters are beautiful, and the guitar sounded great as well. The way that they all blended and harmonized was really impressive.

“Great job, I really enjoy your music,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “I believe the Lord will use you to touch many hearts with your music.”

“Wow! This is easily the best version of the song I’ve heard!” writes another person online. “It’s really hard to understand how you guys harmonize so well.”

The song ‘High Cotton’ was originally recorded by the country music group Alabama, and it was written by Scott Anders and Roger Murrah. The song was the third single from the album Southern Star, and it was released in July 1989. ‘High Cotton’ became a hit and was one of four singles on the album to reach number one on the Hot Country Singles chart.

The nostalgic track reminisces of the youth of the narrator and takes him back to the days on his childhood farm. Even though those times were filled with little money and a lot of hard work, the narrator talks about how those were the happiest times of his life.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘High Cotton’ by The Wagler Sisters today!

When all I wanna do is give up, I choose to trust when my whole world is falling apart
I choose You, Jesus, ‘cause I still believe through it all, I still believe You are wonderful
You’ve never given up on me, You’ve never given up on me”

What an amazing song! This brand new single from Bethel Music is led by Brian Johnson, and it is from Bethel Music's upcoming new album titled Simple.
