2 Teens Sing Mashup Of 'God Help the Outcasts/Love One Another' In Church

Watch this lovely music video of two teens singing a mashup of 'God Help the Outcasts’ and ‘Love One Another' in a stunning church.

“I don’t know if you can hear me or if you’re even there
I don’t know if you would listen to a simple prayer
Yes, I know I’m just an outcast, I shouldn’t speak to you
Still I see your face and wonder weren’t you an outcast too?
As God has loved you, love one another, this new commandment, love one another”

The talented vocalists in this music video are Maddi Thompson and AJ Wankier from the Rise Up Children's Choir. They sound so wonderful together, and they did a fantastic job performing these two touching songs in this beautiful church.

“We discovered this beautiful mash-up of ‘God Help the Outcasts’ and ‘Love One Another’ as we listened to different arrangements by Andres Paredes for another project. We sang through it once and instantly connected to the lyrics and arrangement,” Maddi and AJ wrote in the caption of this YouTube video. “We wanted always to remember the sacred message of the two songs and felt strongly that others needed a reminder of our Heavenly Father's unconditional love for them.”

The continued: “Each song has lyrics that express a longing to love and be loved. ‘Love One Another’ begins with a charge from a loving Father, ‘as God has loved you’, a plea for us to follow His example and care for all of our brothers and sisters. This plea from our Father answers the heartfelt prayer in ‘God Help the Outcasts’ of one who feels alone and betrayed by God and the world—'I don't know if you can hear me’ when there are so many voices pleading for you to listen. It's a call of faith. A call to God to listen to you and care for others as well. We share these two songs with an added understanding that as we love those around us, we help God answer the prayers of His children pleading to be heard. We hope this song touches your heart as it did ours and leads us to spread the love, especially to those who feel unaccepted and alone."

What a beautiful message and performance from these two talented teens!

'Praise Before My Breakthrough' Bryan And Katie Torwalt

Listen to this wonderful worship song called ‘Praise Before My Breakthrough' by Bryan and Katie Torwalt.

“He who came in power, He will come again, He who heals the sick
Won’t He move again, He who raised the dead, won’t He raise again
I will sing, I will sing, I know the tension of the now, I don’t always understand
I don’t always get to see everything, when I’m holding up my hands
When I’m counting every breath, Lord, all I need to know is, You choose me”

This video shows Bryan & Katie Torwalt performing their song ‘Praise Before My Breakthrough' and also features Brock Human. This beautiful song is a powerful declaration of the unfailing truth that God is good, even before breakthrough comes.

‘Praise Before My Breakthrough' is part of Bryan & Katie Torwalt’s full album titled I’ve Got Good News. And the entire album shows off so much raw expression from the Torwalts and how they praise God in every circumstance. The tracks are a unique collection of prayers turned into songs that were birthed in the middle of a trying season.

“These songs were all written or finished during this last season of life,” shared Bryan & Katie Torwalt. “They were our prayers and declarations as we were learning to praise while dealing with fear and anxiety in the middle of an extremely difficult pregnancy, the birth of our beautiful baby girl, and navigating parenthood for the first time. It feels like a journey that God has had us on for a while, and we finally began to get language for it along the way. This is us in the middle of it all, leaning in to God’s heart and voice, trusting in His love and goodness.”

What a beautiful message! We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Praise Before My Breakthrough' today!

Guitar Quartet Performs Unique Rendition Of 'Hey Jude'

Check out this incredibly unique talent. In this clip, a guitar quartet performs a unique rendition of “Hey Jude.”

The group titled, “40 Fingers” is on a colorful stage as they lead an audience in “Hey Jude.” As they play instrumentally, the audience sings along.

Each player is of a different age and style. They do incredible jumps and licks. The group has a soulful, pop, and playful style. One guitarist almost adds a Latino flavor.

As they finish what you would think to be the end of the song, they come into the bridge and sing with the audience. The performers look like they are having a blast along with the audience.

Their harmonies and runs are sassy and fun. Then they get a clap going. This is such an interactive concert. As the audience is part of the song singing and clapping, the guitarists do percussion on their guitars.

They continue to add and build up the song in anticipation. They always leave you wondering what will happen next. It is an absolute blast to watch and causes you to feel as if you are at the concert with them.

These men are extremely talented guitarists. They love what they do and it brings a smile to everyone’s faces. They have such brilliant creativity and talent.

Just when you think they finish the song it is as if they use their guitars to communicate with each other with licks and runs. Then, they have a big finish. The crowd cheers, it is spectacular.

Watching this will inspire your own creativity. We are called to sing a new song to the Lord. Just as they brought newness on a stage, we can bring new sounds of worship before our great God.

“A Psalm. Oh, sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.” Psalm 98:1

4 Men Of Collabro Perform 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'

This is a peaceful and stunning performance. Check out this video of 4 men of Collabro who perform “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

At the start of the song, there is a dark stage with bright orange lights behind the quartet. The light comes on each soloist. As they each sing there is such emotion and depth to their voices. Each singer is unique in pitch and tone.

Then, the group blows us away with their incredible harmonies and vocal blend on the first chorus. Their voices are as smooth as butter. Their four-part chorus is respectable and relaxing.

The way that this group works together as a team is incredible. It is as if one voice is singing many parts. There is such a beautiful tight-knit focus among them. Their message is very encouraging as well. They sing in a compassionate tone with the lyrics that say:

Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

This was a Grammy award-winning song in 1970. The lyrics motivate us not to give up, but to persevere. No matter the trials that life has, there is a message of hope and comfort in the storm. These men remind us of that wonderful truth.

As believers in Christ, He does this for us. God’s Spirit is our Comforter and Counselor. Whenever we face hardships, we can overcome them because of the Holy Spirit within us. We can continue running the race of faith, knowing that we are never alone and we always have hope.

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.” Romans 5:3-4

Live Performance Of 'Amazing Grace' From The Statler Brothers

Feel the presence of the Lord as The Statler Brothers perform ‘Amazing Grace.’

Authored by John Newton, this beloved hymn was written as a way of giving thanks to the Lord after God granted John new life. As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions.

But one day at sea, John found himself caught in the middle of a terrible storm. John spent hours at the helm of the ship battling the waves and his thoughts started to turn to God.

After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving the Lord. The beautiful words of ‘Amazing Grace’ were inspired by this incredible moment of self-revelation.

“Amazing Grace,
How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see”

The Statler Brothers formed in 1955 and continued to play music until their retirement in 2002. Throughout the years, these talented men have given us hits such as ‘Flowers On The Wall’ and ‘Do You Know You Are My Sunshine?’

Today, we’re looking back at one of their last performances as they belt out the iconic words of ‘Amazing Grace.’

“T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far
And Grace will lead us home”

What a blessing to know that our Lord is always by our side and loves us unconditionally.

1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I to you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:”

'I Sing The Mighty Power Of God' is based on scriptures talking about creation, like passages such as Jeremiah 10:12-13, for example: “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to the instrumental version of this hymn by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and the music was able to uplift your spirit and bring you some encouragement today!

LYRICS:

I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
No turning back, no turning back.

The world behind me, the cross before me,
The world behind me, the cross before me,
The world behind me, the cross before me,
No turning back, no turning back.

Though none go with me, I still will follow,
Though none go with me, I still will follow,
Though none go with me, I still will follow,
No turning back, no turning back.

Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back.

I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
No turning back, no turning back

Bill Anderson Pens Patriotic Tune 'Old Army Hat (God Bless America Again)'

Listen to the touching words of the song 'Old Army Hat (God Bless America Again),' a patriotic tune penned by Bill Anderson.

“He came home to Tennessee, a young man at the end of ‘45
The only one of seven men in his platoon that made it back alive
He must have seen some tough times, but he never talked to much about all that
Put his pictures and his memories in a cedar chest, everything but his old Army hat”

What a great song! The lyrics describe a man who wears his old Army hat to honor his friends that did not survive WWII. And how he takes an emotional visit to the WWII memorial in Washington, DC where he passes his Army hat down to a man who lost his father to the war.

Bill Anderson shared how the song came about and what inspired the lyrics to the song.

“This song that I’m about to share with you is a true story. I read about this man in a newspaper article in his hometown. He’s from a little town called Millington, Tennessee down near Memphis. He just turned 90 years old, and he’s a WWII veteran. And when I read his story I said, ‘This is a song waiting to be written.’”

Bill continued: “I got with a great writer from down in Alabama named Walt Aldridge. And Walt and I sat down with the newspaper article and some pictures that were provided by the family, and we tried to tell the story of this man. His name is Ed Haley, 90 years young. It’s about Ed Haley and his old Army hat. I hope you’ll listen to the words.”

At the end of the song, Bill starts singing ‘America the Beautiful,’ and the rest of the room joins in. What an emotional and patriotic tune!

And all those lonely nights when you just needed a friend
And those days goes by but the clouds keep rolling in
You’re not alone, oh, you’re not alone”

What a great and uplifting song! And the vocals of Larry Fleet and Zach Williams blend so well together. During the chorus, the two start singing harmonies together and their sound is so full, soulful, and warm.

“In the morning, in the evening, every day and in between
When it’s raining, when it’s pouring, and your grass don’t look so green
Your world might fall to pieces, but these troubles won’t last
Just remember brothers and sister, this too shall pass”

High School Choir Sings Classic Hymn 'Abide With Me'

Listen to the classic hymn ‘Abide With Me’ beautifully performed by a high school choir in British Columbia, Canada.

“Abide with me, fast falls the eventide, the darkness deepens Lord, with me abide
When other helpers fail and comforts flee, help of the helpless, oh, abide with me
Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day, earth's joys grow dim, its glories pass away
Change and decay in all around I see, O Thou who changest not, abide with me”

What a phenomenal music video! The young women in the video are from Fountainview Academy, which is a Christian high school based in southern British Columbia, Canada.

All three of them have such beautiful voices, and they are singing in such a stunning setting. Their harmonies are wonderful, and it is heavenly to listen to their voices blend together. As the music video progresses, the young women walk towards a group of musicians playing next to them on the side of the mountain. The whole production is amazing and uplifting, and it is great to see these students using their gift to bring God glory.

"The music, the singing, the scenery -- all beautiful,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Truly beautiful. You three lovely young ladies with the musicians nailed it. Thank you and many blessings,” writes another person online.

The song ‘Abide With Me’ is a Christian hymn by Scottish Anglican Henry Francis Lyte. He wrote it in 1847 as he was dying from tuberculosis, and the words are a prayer to God to stay with the speaker throughout life and in death. It is most often sung to the tune ‘Eventide’ by the English organist William Henry Monk.

Calm In Epidemic Storm. "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms"

Storm. The whole world has been in a storm for the last few years. Jesus too was in the storm. Some folks head peace in that storm because they trusted Jesus. Some folks wear anxious because they didn’t trust Jesus.

This acapella hymn, "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms", is sung by Acapeldridge, and we created a video with lyrics for the song.

Acapella hymns with lyrics like "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" (sung by an acapella quartet) will bless you mightily throughout your day, because they are old fashioned, and bible based. Without any instruments, you can simply enjoy (and watch) the lyrics, and receive that spiritual comfort God wants you to feel.

Stunning Cover Of 'His Love' By Nathan Pacheco

Check out this stunning cover of ‘His Love’ by Nathan Pacheco and performed by Curtis Morely.

“There is a man who heals the soul, I heard them say. daily He walks with those who
Cannot find their way. Only this heart knows how I long to feel His touch.
I ask, can He fill my empty cup. So many voices call, it's hard to find my way
With so many weaknesses, I struggle every day. Those who have found Him
Those who feel His healing hands, deep in their hearts, they understand and they know
His love can heal, His love will lead me, and His love will endure forever
His hands reach to hold and to lead me and his heart longs to bring me home again”

What an amazing video of Nathan Pacheco’s song ‘His Love.’ In the video, the talented vocalist is Curtis Morely. The videography was done by Josh Sales, and the audio recording was Tyler Castleton’s work.

“Thank you to everyone who watched this video! We had a blast being able to produce this for you!” the team wrote in the caption of their YouTube video.

The video starts off with a piano playing beautifully in the background while statues around a garden are shown. Then Curtis comes into view in a forest and starts to sing ‘His Love.’ The song is just wonderful to listen to, and it is filled with so much truth about God’s unending love.

‘His Love’ is by Nathan Pacheco who is an opera trained tenor who sings with the warmth of the great pop artists. He is also a Washington DC native of Brazilian descent. Nathan expresses his love of languages by writing lyrics in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish with the passion of a poet. “I sing from my heart,” says Nathan. “Because that’s the way they do it in Brazil.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘His Love’ today!

Father-Daughter Duet To “Here Comes the Sun” and “I Can See Clearly Now”

Two classic weather-related anthems are made new when combined into this amazing father-daughter duet to “Here Comes the Sun” and “I Can See Clearly Now,” and it’s a performance sure to brighten any day!

Mat and Savanna come to us from their home in Kaysville, Utah, where Savanna, in an effort to stay connected with her choir friends during the COVID-19 pandemic, set up an Instagram account—her first social media account. In the 2.5 years since they posted their very first duet in February 2020, they have recorded four albums and earned 600,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel. These two are on fire!

Mat and Savanna record songs that are uplifting and encouraging to listeners, but it’s not merely the lyrics that make their fans feel good! This father-daughter pair are abundantly talented, and their ability to harmonize together is remarkable!

Enjoy this unique rendering of the two well-known hits by The Beatles and Johnny Nash, recorded originally in 1969 and 1972, respectively. The arrangement here is pure perfection and the work of Stephen Nelson. There are several surprises along the way that make the classics even better than remembered! Pay particular attention at: 50 seconds, 2.0 minutes, 2:35 minutes, and 3.28 minutes. Mat and Savanna’s vocal gifts are on full display, their rich, pure voices blending wonderfully!

While the view outside the massive windows indicate an overcast sky and a lot of wind, Matt, 41, and Savanna, 17, deliver nothing but “bright skies.” Their smiles and stunningly beautiful voices are cloud chasers for sure. In addition, Mat and Savanna chose to use their talent to support charities. Among those organizations was the Utah Food Bank, which was struggling to meet the needs at the height of the pandemic.

Matt and his wife Brooke have four children; Savanna is the eldest of the four. She looks just a bit like her daddy, doesn’t she! There wasn’t much good to say about COVID-19, but God doesn’t make mistakes. And, one amazing gift that the crisis gave the world was Mat and Savanna Shaw—a father-daughter duet with tons of talent and great big hearts!
