Irving Berlin brought ‘God Bless America’ back to popularity again before World War II. This patriotic song inspired the nation then, and it continues to do so today. GLORY HAS COME
--------------------------------------------
Show me heaven in my time
show me where I missed the mark
show me freedom like I never knew
most of all show me you

give me freedom in this life
and an ending to all this strife
all the things I thought I couldn't do
I can do all only in you

I look into the eyes of death and see
it won't be long and it won't be long
death laughs he's staring back at me
but he don't know whose son I am

There's a place where all can go
the living is easy and the joy's everywhere
why can't we all just go there
to that place
where everyone can see you now
face to face

Glory has come to heaven and earth
glory has come and I'll tell you what it's worth
treasure laid up in heaven above
raze the roof 'cause glory has come
glory has come
glory has come
glory has come...

over it's all over the war is over and glory has come
defeated death is defeated glory repeated is glory come
over it's all over the war is over and glory has come
defeated death is defeated his glory repeated is glory come

Glory has come to heaven and earth
glory has come and I'll tell you what it's worth
treasure laid up in heaven above
raze the roof 'cause glory has come
glory has come
glory has come
glory has come...

'In This Place' TAYA Of Hillsong UNITED Acoustic Performance

Check out this acoustic performance by TAYA of Hillsong UNITED of her song ‘In This Place.’

“Here now to You I’m paying attention, You know I’m needing a vision of what I cannot see
Find me and break my habit of hiding and may Your promise define me in my wandering
Welcome, Spirit of God, I know that You love me though I am lost, give me the eyes of faith
In darkness or brilliance and I will say, surely You are in this place, surely You are in this place”

What a beautiful and moving song, and TAYA’s voice is just incredible. The theme of God’s faithfulness shows up throughout ‘In This Place,’ and the lyrics of the song recognizes and values the presence of God. The song serves as a simple reminder that the Lord is with us even in the unknown and the chaos.

TAYA talks about the song and shares what part of scripture inspired it.

“The song was based on Genesis 28, which is the story of Jacob,” she says. “He was running away from his family; he was running away from the choices that he had made and decisions that he had kind of brought on himself. And he went to sleep in the desert, he put a rock under his head, and he had this dream.”

She continued: “It was essentially God showing up in his dream to him. And he saw angels ascending and descending from heaven in that place. And he woke up. I love that he actually had reverence and awe and was a bit frightened, and he said, ‘Surely, you were in this place, God, and I didn’t even know it.’”

Sometimes we can be like Jacob and not see that God is with us in the trials and in the mundane of life. Let us pray that the Lord would help us to pay more attention to see that He is truly with us; He is very much in this place.

“There's a storm across the valley, clouds are rollin' in
The afternoon is heavy on your shoulders
There's a truck out on the four lane, a mile or more away
The whinin' of his wheels just makes it colder”

Contractors Aaron Gray and Josh Arnett became overnight sensations back in 2015 when they posted a video of them singing ‘How Great Thou Art’ on a job site. Now, they are a nationally recognized duo known as The Singing Contractors.

Today, they’re paying tribute to a musical masterpiece with their rendition of John Denver’s ‘Back Home Again.’

You’re a good good Father, it’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are
And I’m loved by You, it’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am”

2 Sisters Sing Chilling Duet Of 'Oceans' And 'You Make Me Brave'

Check out this wonderful music video of two sisters singing a chilling duet of the songs 'Oceans' and 'You Make Me Brave.'

“You call me out upon the waters, the great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery, in oceans deep my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your Name, and keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise my soul will rest in Your embrace, for I am Yours and You are mine”

Sisters Cassandra and Callahan are 9 years apart, but they both have a love for singing and have beautiful voices to share with the world. In this music video, Cassandra, the younger of two sisters, starts off singing first while she stands beside the ocean. Then her older sister, Callahan, joins in with singing the harmony, and the pair walk hand in hand beside the water while making lovely music together.

The two are also coordinating in white outfits in the music video while the sun sets on them in the stunning location. After singing 'Oceans' by Hillsong UNITED for a bit, the sisters start to sing out ‘You Make Me Brave’ by Amanda Cook from Bethel Music.

“As Your love, in wave after wave, crashes over me, crashes over me, for You are for us,
You are not against us, champion of Heaven, You made a way for all to enter in”

The lyrics in these songs remind us all about God’s deep and boundless love for us. His love is never-ending and His grace is unconditional. We are His children, and He cares for each of us so much.

We hope that this beautiful melody from Cassandra and Callahan of the songs 'Oceans' and 'You Make Me Brave' was able to encourage you and uplift your spirits today!
