'Mary, Did You Know?' Father-Daughter Christmas Duet

Feel the chills as Mat and Savanna Shaw sing a stunning father-daughter duet to ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ Mark Lowry spent over 7 years perfecting the lyrics to this beloved song. The idea came to Mark when he was writing a Christmas program for Jerry Falwell. He started thinking about what he would ask Mary if she was sitting right in front of him. He wondered how she must have felt when the angel told her she would birth a child of God. That’s when he put together the questions that eventually became the lyrics we all know and love today. ‘Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God’ You may recognize father-daughter pair Mat and Savanna Shaw from one of their many YouTube videos. The duo made headlines earlier this year when their performance of ‘The Prayer’ went viral. They’ve continued to create beautiful music together, including some Christmas favorites. Today, they’re taking on the ultimate Christmas song with this incredible performance of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ Prepare for goosebumps as they belt out these iconic words. ‘Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb? That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am’ Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

Superstar Carrie Underwood rings in the Christmas season with a beautiful medley of ‘Let There Be Peace’ and ‘Something In The Water.’ These powerful songs are the perfect reminder that we are all children of God and He is in control. “And now I'm changed And now I'm stronger There must be somethin' in the water Oh there must be somethin' in the water” Carrie became a household name after winning the fourth season of American Idol back in 2005. She won over the hearts of America with covers of songs such as Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and “Bless The Broken Road” from Rascal Flatts. After her win, she quickly climbed the country charts and made a solid name for herself in the country music world. Geof Kimber_Eternity in Mind

Verse 1
Too many times my life is taken
With things that I should count forsaken
Because I find they take the place
Of time spent with your Son
I realize as I grow older
That all too soon, life will be over
And all I have to say and do
will be said and done

CHORUS
Grant that I would live
with eternity in mind
Oh that Christ would be
alive in me
Through my life
raise the dead and heal the blind
That they too would see
with eternity in mind

Verse 2
Lord grant that I to You would cling to
That earthly things would hold no value
But only that which glorifies
Christ my God and King
What treasure this that I believe in
He who became a curse for my sin
And who alone should be the one
of whom I speak and sing

The song ‘My Kind Of Christmas’ is one of them. “I’m so excited to share the deluxe edition of Christmas Eve in Bethlehem! During this crazy year, I’ve felt so inspired to write songs about hope and our God who never changes,” shared Hannah. “We can look at the Christmas story and remember that God is with us. His love is never out of season; it’s always available to us, and I hope these songs I’ve chosen to add on remind people of that. This is a collection that sums up what Christmas means to me: spending time with family, feeling warm and joyful, praising God for His unchanging love, and remembering the hope of Jesus Christ, our Emmanuel.” We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘My Kind Of Christmas’ today!

Country Crooner Dave Fenley Sings 'Amazing Grace'

It is always wonderful to hear an old song in a new way.

Check out this video where country crooner Dave Fenley sings “Amazing Grace.” At the start of this incredible song, Dave is standing with his eyes closed in worship behind a recording microphone.

His intensity and passionate rasp in his voice gets anyone excited about the message of the gospel. Dave stands in the studio adding vocal flare to every line of the song. He belts out in praise to the Savior.

Hearing the lyrics to this song never gets old. Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I am found, was blind, but now I see. Dave has a country style and appears to be singing from the depth of who he is.

The song is very easy to listen to and his true grit type of voice really speaks to our hearts. Dave is just a country boy who recognizes that Jesus has offered His great gift of salvation to him.

We too have been offered this same opportunity to receive Jesus as our Lord. There is nothing that we could do to earn heaven, we have been graced with the sacrifice of Jesus and His resurrection.

He has provided a way to reunite us with our Creator God. Whether you have heard this song a million times, or this is the first time, let it sink in. You are dearly loved by the Lord and Jesus died and rose for you. His grace is truly amazing.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

But to make it even more special, he invited Drew Parker to lend his voice to this iconic Christmas tune. “We're looking for The King, the new Messiah We're following the star, shining brighter Old man won't you help us if you can He shook his head but he pointed his hand” The music video was filmed on Randy’s own ranch in Texas. Drew spoke to CMT about the moving experience. “Driving around the property and getting to take in all of God’s creation with one of my heroes. It was a very special day and one I’ll remember for the rest of my life.” You can truly feel the emotion as the duo rides around the ranch with family and friends nearby. “There's a new kid in town and he's lying in a manger down the road There's a new kid in town, but he's just another baby I suppose Heaven knows There's a new kid in town, Here in Bethlehem” Randy Travis is an icon in the country music world and it’s wonderful to watch old and new come together for this beautiful Christmas classic. Luke 2:12 “And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

Chilling Rendition Of 'Silent Night' From Bravely Gray

Listen to this chilling rendition of ‘Silent Night’ performed by Bravely Gray. “Silent night, holy night, all is calm and all is bright Round yon virgin, mother and child, holy infant, so tender and mild Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace” What a beautiful version of this classic Christmas hymn! The singer is playing the piano in a barn while surrounded by candles and lanterns. And throughout the song, there are scenes that accompany the lyrics – like scenes of Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus while laying him in the manger and scenes of the shepherds seeing the star and coming to visit Jesus. The wise men are also seen coming to visit Jesus as a little toddler. The whole video is stunning and very powerful! “Voice of an angel,” one person comments on YouTube after watching the music video. “Love the music along with the video, especially the shepherds with the bright lights on them. I became overcome with powerful emotions. Wow!” writes another person online. The singer, Bravely Gray, shares about herself and the background of her stage name on her YouTube page. “I'm somewhat young, love to write music and my hair is turning gloriously gray,” she writes. “Ironically, I started turning gray and writing music around the same time at 13 years old. Now as an adult, I have decided it's time to finally release my music and my natural hair color at the same time. Everything here is as imperfect as ever, but it is real. I hope you find some morsel of inspiration as you follow my journey.” ‘Silent Night’ is a great reminder to us all about how one tiny baby changed the entire world. That is certainly a blessing to be thankful for this holiday season and all year long. Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
